#6 is such helpful framing. Plus people react differently to stress - many people lose weight, not because they're stressed but because of their actions ie not eating enough.

😢 this morning the scale went up by 3.2lbs😢 I was soo sad. I had a heavy leg day yesterday and pushed heavier weight than usual. But I also did some cardio after, so I was confused. Also, today when I went to the mall, two people told me I lost weight. So now I'm even more confused cause I gained weight but I look smaller. And my period is not close. This video helps but I still feel bad. Thanks for this! Appreciate your content.❤

What if you cant poo in the morning? Doest it matter much? My work shifts are from 8am till 5pm and im weighting myself every morning around 7:15am but i am not always in the "mood" of doing number 2..

i have a question regarding maintenance and calorie deficit. I am on a weightloss journey. I started at 112kg (I am 5'9) and after 5 months im hovering between 106kg to 107kg, i am lifting weights and doing cardio, im pretty sure my body is in recomp phase as i am having new PRs in different lifts almost weekly and usually stay consistent with my calorie deficit. However, i feel after this long in being in the same calorie deficit, has my metabolism adjusted to the point that now my calorie deficit has now become my new maintenance? and now i have to cut my calories further ? this would explain why i have not reduced my weight in over 6 weeks. my maintenance is around 2300-2400 cals, i eat 1800-1900 cals for the last 5 months and also walk 8-10k steps on the days i workout (4 days a week). should i cut my calories further to 1500 cals? The last time my weight plateued at 108 kg, i kept my cals at 1800 and just added an extra day to my workouts with cardio and that helped me drop another 2 kgs but ive stalled since then. My goal weight is 80kg as that is where i am around 12% to 15% body fat, although i am sure i have increased in muscle mass since i was that weight as i am alrdy lifting heavier now than i was when i was in shape.

honestly even those aren't accurate, I wouldn't waste your time 😅 google "male or female BF percentage " then use that as a guide

@@ResplendentRaider check your local university for options. Uni of Nebraska has the Hydrostatic for $50 only. It’s about as accurate as is gets though not perfect.

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been getting discouraged after taking your advice to weigh myself daily but this helps so much🥹! Thanks for putting logic into my anxiety. Also, is there a weighing scale you would recommend that will track weight automatically through an app? There’s a bunch on Amazon but just wanted to get your opinion

@@amraable116hello 👋 personally I don’t weigh myself daily as I have a previous history of binging and restricting, when I would weigh myself daily I would be disappointed in the scale and think “oh well I’m never going to lose weight might as well binge” Now I weigh myself once a week to once a month. You might want to do once a month. If you ever get the strong urge to weigh yourself , take a progress photo instead. The scale can be triggering for some, so I’d suggest doing whatever makes you feel mentally sound and what will help you in your caloric deficit journey.

what about if I'm on a deficit of 1900 and I'm only able to get down to 1600-1700 a day but I am losing weight. is it ok to under eat deficit calories? I don't want to be stuck at 1700 when I could be eating 1900 due to metabolic adaptation. should I eat up to the 1900 even though I'm not hungry to save my metabolism? I just want to know if its ok to do this and then maybe eat at the 1900 on weekends or something as long as I'm losing weight? will this affect my metabolism? does it slow down because I'm eating less than the deficit?
