Funny thing is, the 1st video I saw from you was that ink ribbon one. Then when I saw how good and detailed it was I started to search your channel for other Resi stuff but then I saw Devil May Cry and other capcom stuff then it had me like, "ooh he's a Capcom based channel" which got me to sub. Ngl when I watched the dmc vids it had me genuinely surprised that these didn't get much attention and now I see why.

Thank you so much! I’ve heard so many similar stories about my channel from my other viewers and friends as well. I’ve always wondered if my videos were just *really* niche (or really bad lol) or if there were less Capcom fans than I thought. Seeing this phenomenon on stream plus Zackary Sigler’s video has changed my perspective on my channel’s growth. Of course most of the growth will be dependent on me and how I handle the channel, but it showed me the whole picture for sure. A lot of incredibly helpful insight that I need to be mindful of! I feel that for sure -- it feels like I can't get any good traction even when there's a rare video that sort of breaks through a little bit. It'll always be a one-off because oh my god the algorithm is SO BAD at putting similar topic videos next to each other in the recommended. Combine that with the fact that RU-vid just issued a warning to my channel for a video I did covering anti-trans policies a while back and now I'm just sad ;_; like bro come on I'm a small content creator and I'm queer you don't have to kick me while I'm down

I’m glad but also a little miffed to hear other channels are struggling with this, I was hoping this was maybe *just* me but apparently not. RU-vid must’ve recently implemented something in the last few days, because my channel actually got a warning for a link that to their credit, DID lead to a site that was against community guidelines (it was for a video I did covering a strange fellow and his presence on a fetish website), but RU-vid had ZERO problem with that link being there until half a year later lol. Thanks for the comment, and I wish you luck with your channel!
