I remember years ago when riflenstein did a deep dive into shane dawson, one of the things she mentioned he would do to avoid drama was what she called the "when in doubt, upload it out" method, which is what this makes me think of. Basically you just ignore it and keep uploading your normal content until people have moved on from the topic. Yeah its definitely making a comeback in recent times. Creators dont want to risk responding to soemthing and having their statement age like milk.
Oh yeah. Forgot about Imallex. Tbh it's for the best. He never really was my favourite. Tbh he should've been canceled after the Slazo situation in 2019 and his (now ex friends), was what helped him stay relevant with George in his reaction videos. He was always weird.
tbh it’s usually better to not respond or wait bc when tensions are high people are going to pick apart your statement and take your words out of context then further the drama and make things worse than what it actually was
Wilbur still has some fans but theyre really weird, alex is fucked for life, cody probably isnt going to respond, dr disrespect is manipulating the situation trying to make everyone else look like the bad guy and u need a haircut
Responding just informs more people about the situation, so you should only do it if you have something important to add. If you're guilty then you probably don't have anything to fire back with, so better to just grind it out, unless you're whole audience already heard about it.
Either people wait for their controversy to blow over because the internet has the memory of a goldfish, or they're doing legal stuff behind the scenes and don't wanna hurt their case.
@@cCubify yes I think he is the worst person on RU-vid. I think he should be banned from the platform. I think he is a despicable human being. And he deserves no support whatsoever. 💀 bffr relax dude it’s not that deep
Any GOOD celebrity knows their fans are not a factor of popular vote, but rather the fanfare gives them the courage to believe they are capable of covering up worldly pleasures behind their celebrity status
I love it when big creators just get fucked with something when they have these rabid fanbases 😂 Like I wanna know how do they cope with their idols being very flawed humans 😂
It was pretty pathetic seeing that from Darkviper's fanbase of all places. I was trying to have a debate, and the best defense they could muster was "lawyers basically tell you that responding in the moment is a bad idea" or "how dare you try to compare him to Rice Gum" when I referred to how he has this blatant disregard for what he can and can't say while simultaneously coming across as a guy who can squash rumors on the spot while copyright claiming "offensive" clips as a preemptive measure even if he personally doesn't have a problem with them. Dark's still a snake, just like Diesel Patches on anime fans and misrepresenting Synthetic Man and Heelsvsbabyface, just like Act Ma'am who can't control his ego and constantly flipflops on his principles, and just like Angry Joe who can't stop getting into controversies with other people for no reason and just releases boring content these days without the edge that made him popular.
