And if the jury decides he must be held accountable and punished, then I whole heartedly support a civil suit, or whatever process is available at this stage, 2 years after the incident. Miu was not acting and reacting in a vacuum. It’s a shame there can’t be group trial and group punishment, and that the punishment can’t be for them all to clean up that river! However, I think the defense has missed other things before. For example, continuing to allow the prosecution to portray it as though it was just two girls standing in front of him. He stabbed an unrelated party trying to separate him from the group he was in a verbal conflict with. Awful situation, but that dude is not right in the head. Both parties were drinking. It seems the confrontation was instigated by Miu's believe that the party of Teens had found his friends lost cellphone. He runs over and puts his hand on their tubes and their legs. They call him a pedophile for touching teens. Women come over telling him to go away. He doesn't. He reaches into his pocket and readies his knife. He pushes or strikes a female. A male teen retaliates. The stabbing begins. I'd bet my life savings this guy goes to jail for at least 2nd degree murder.

In Wisconsin, apparently you're not allowed to defend yourself against roving packs of feral teenagers.
