The most hate you find in these is just hate that we have made a lame future compared to this, that and disappointment over the cyberpunk game Overall it’s still very positive
Started the 80's age 7 (Empire Strikes Back every week for weeks on end baby!). Ended age 17 (Total Recall with the boys when I turned 18 in 1990). Yeah, it was freaking amazing.
'77 born and wouldn't change that for the world, the late 70's and 80's for the best films, music of all genres, arcade machine, home computers and games, TV... it was just a way better time and certainly life was less complicated, glad I was there for it. Don't mention the fashion and haircuts thou....!
Synthwave doesn't make me think back to the 80's but to the future and what will become of it. I'm not a 80's kid or even a 90s' kid but i still love this type of music. I hope synthwave continues to grow.
This song perfectly encapsulates everything New Retro Wave / Synthwave is about. Like, every synth sound, riff, Arcade FX and melody line covers the whole spectrum of why I love this stuff. It's all here.
This is one of my favorite synthwave pieces. Found this in the summer of 2021 and been hooked since! So much great memories. I feel the bass pumping blood in my veins. Also, the thombs are perfectly placed with nice rythm. I love everything about this song.
How does one get a track to have such absolutely amazing quality? Sounds like it was made by someone who has professionaly done mixing and mastering for over 20 years.
I started listen back to this track right after I saw the Cybertruck announcement and I expect somebody would talk about Cybertruck here, I'm so happy now
This video... must have taken hundreds, if not thousands of hours to model render. I'm impressed by the brute amount of work that went into this song and this video.
I remember as a teenager finding new awesome music almost as soon as it was released. I wonder if the fact I'm finding this now 5 years late is a sign of age.
This is one of the first Synthwave song that I heard, one that threw me deep into that retrowave/synthwave genre so i'm really thankful toward this incredible artist. Thanks
1981, 27 years old, made it to the top, lovin it, driving my ferrari gts daytona in miami beach, livin life, breathing freedom. Oh man what a dream it would have been. But maybe... in another life.
Leopold Berec , it was the car that inspired the Countach, it had many of its characteristics including the scissor doors and pop up headlights, hell even the designer of the cara was the same person , a man called Marcello Gandini, he hasn't retired and still designs cars to this day. Take care mate.
I like how this 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo Bertone is retro-ized slightly to look more 80's like the rear skirt hubs on the rear tire that do not move with the tire, and the metallic DeLorean silver with black goes well with this car.
This energetic pushing kickass soundscape is like THE teaser for the future. And you know what? THE FUTURE IS NOW! - Gideon was here. Written at the beginning of the 3rd millennium.
I’m 25 yo, so i know anything about the 80s, but that make me feel nostalgic about Blade Runner, Terminator, Twin Peaks etc.. wtf, this track is insane btw 😀
Can you imagine them releasing another Tron movie with music like this played during a lightcar and/or lightcycle chase scene through a city in the grid, that would be incredible.
I guess that we are all here for the music and a vibe that's from the past or never quite was. We look at that and not at the "now" with all it's troubles, and so things are good. Escape and respite, staring into a synthwave sunset of violet and pink.
Awesome!!!! Beautiful!!!! Magical!!!! I could say.... A masterpiece with some nostalgic feeling. I like pretty much graphics. AWESOME GUYS...AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
The car in the video: Alfa Romeo Carabo The 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo, like the incredible Stratos Zero concept that arrived two years later, was an exploration into the wedge-design theme that would take hold through the 70s and into the '80s. Built on Alfa Tipo 33 Stradale mechanicals, the Carabo also featured scissor doors and, in a relentlessly cool detail, hidden, louvered headlamps.
