I have an SE2 and I love it. The additional features aren't worth the double or more price for me. I also don't want a huge screen anyway i like the smaller aesthetic of the SE. The only feature I wish it had was a keyboard. I don't care about the always on display. I also wish the battery life was longer
Just purchased my first Apple watch. Chose the SE 2nd Generation. It worked with my budget. Also, have a Fitbit Sense 2. I wear them both since one will do what the other won’t as far as blood oxygen, etc. is concerned. Very satisfied with my purchases. Great video.
I'm an SE 1st generation user, looking forward to upgrade when the series 9 is out. The reason is because I'm at the age where in 1 to 2 years time I may be focusing more on pregnancy planning and with more features coming out on the regular series apple watch, I find it increasingly more relevant to my upcoming phase of life. But for now, as a general fitness tracker with other smart features, the SE is a good option for many young consumers.
Just got the SE(2) today in silver at Target. I still have SE(1) in space grey but, somehow that the screen as cracks on it since I accidentally dropped it on the floor last night. Yikes!! I only could get it in a s/m white band instead m/l band. It is okay that I have watch bands for it. I have big bones on my wrist. I can’t afford the 8. I’m happy to get the SE(2).
I was considering getting the SE2 as my first Apple Watch, but decided to get the non-cellular Nike Series 7 instead. Reasons included always on, dust resistance, non-plastic back and fast charging. I think I made the right decision, even though it was more expensive.
I downgraded from the Ultra to a SE. For how i use it (mostly for messages and Siri) the SE is more than enough. My last was a series 3 which actually also was still great.
I chose SE cellular. I dont need always on, its useless, I will turn my arm to check time anyway. Screen is big enough, I use black theme for battery, so I dont see bezels anyway. Midnight color is beautiful and plastic back you dont notice while wearing. Only thing I wish it had is fast charging
I ended up treating myself to the Apple Watch 8 in the end, lol as I like to go swimming and like the additional health apps. I like the sleep tracker too. Thanks for the like.

never had an Apple watch and im going for the 8. i just moved out of Assisted Living and would like to monitor my health levels via this watch in case i need to go to the doctor.
Got the Apple Watch SE 2 back in November 2022 as all those extra sensors on series 8 aren’t much of use for me and on top of that saved me plenty of bucks. Really happy and satisfied with SE 2 as it performs so fluid and is very snappy to use. Highly recommended watch if someone is thinking to have their first ever apple watch.
The previous SE had a base made of sapphire glass and ceramic, but they recently used plastic for environmental reasons! Seriously! They went cheeeeeeap on their customers 😀 loud and clear !
