Just anticipating some comments about the "Lack of designs" (5:51). To be clear, most have a few options and some, like the nova 7 Pro, have loads. They're all pretty similar though and I'd like to see more plain colours.
Agreed. I've been asking them for a few months to introduce some more patterns or incorporate the white design used for most on the Corsair HS80 since they're typically a white headset but they said they have no plans currently for new colour schemes. I would be nice if they could introduce some pink ear pads as Corsair stopped selling the pink custom kit for the HS80 in favour of making an all pink headset under its own name to try to milk the market and further neglect decade long customers, similar to what we've seen from HyperX and their Cloud II's. Hopefully Wicked Cushions can pick up the slack in this area.
I understand that they need to have unique designs so that you can tell, just by looking at them, that they are Wicked Cushions. But I reckon more customisation options and more ways to personalise would probably equal more sales too.
Even just including their designs across all headsets, so that if we see one in white we like we can have it on our headsets instead of watching videos of them putting put on other headsets lol@@goukigod
To be honest, the reason why not all headsets have our entire design collection is the following : Not all headsets have the same popularity unfortunately. As an example, a 90s white design can sell 10 units a day on nova pro wireless, but sell 5 units A MONTH on epos h6 pro. Hence why we sometimes have to cut some designs from specific headset and cannot keep them due to logistical reasons :/
I love them on both my Arctis Nova 7X and Logitech G Pro X Wireless. They do change the sound signature some but i have modified the EQ to accommodate them. Also while they are comfortable they honestly only stay cool for 5-10 minutes then are just normal. Better than leather for me but definitely doesn't stay cool an entire gaming session.
Just trying these for the first time on my Bose700. They look really good. The only thing is that it changes the sound. Now they are a lot brighter. I hope there is a fix for this.
imo they arent really that good, the "cooling tech" is cool for like 1minute then it becomes warm... i would rather have a normal fabric earpad than this
My solution for sweat/heat is just having long hair lol. My M50Xs have the oldest most flaky earpads ever but just haven't bothered replacing them as they dont even reach skin.
I would have thought that was even hotter?! Wicked cushion sell ear pads for the M50X, and I reckon they'll sound like new wickedcushions.com/products/audio-technica-ath-m50x-ear-pads-by-wicked-cushions
Pls stop i have them 4 days now. That cooling effect is way over rated! My room temp was way lover than in the ear cup. My ears sweat, comfort is ok but there is lack of breathability, there is none. Never again will buy them. Poor quality fake leather i expected real lether around.
@@Mekoo420 I can attest to this, They indeed make it hotter and near unplayable for long periods of time, the cooling effect is non existent in fact they get even hotter than my regular pleather pads on another pair of headphones I own, all in all the cooling effect is just a marketing buzz word, my advice don't waste your money
@@TheCoolerBob what could I possibly NOT do right that would make them fall apart, I got them, I put them on my headset, used them, and now they're falling apart
@@zDonr it depends on how often you wear them of course. i wear my headphones daily for hours and most replacements are done after 6 months. the originals last a little longer, i wish some manufacturer would make real quality replacement ones for these types of use cases that last years.
bro.... 11 months for ~$20?... if it's a daily use that's baller. All earpads degrade. There's not a single earpad that doesn't degrade, they're like car tires.
