Let me first say that i am 46 and have dabbled with the guitar my entire adulthood. I have watched tutorials since the beginning of tutorials and let me say without a doubt that your tutorials are in a league of there own. I found gold. A treasure trove of great songs without a missed note. With the coolest screen setup ever. The best on youtube, by a long shot
I haven’t found a better tutorial on the internet. Not only is this explained very well, you provide 2 different graphics that make it even easier to understand. This must be a huge amount of work to put together so I thank you for all of this! I’m subscribed and hoping to learn other songs.
when I first started playong in the mid 70s. even getting the chords to a song was near impossible, now we get experts actually showing to play it for free - superb lesson
I can tell you... I have been learning how to play for couple of years now... this is by far the best channel out there... by far. The explanations, the tabs on the screen... really appreciate the effort. Hope youtube pays you well for this. I will stick to this channel until my fingers burnt.
Glad you liked it! Drummers actually have a massive advantage when it comes to learning the guitar! The rhythm aspect is something that evades a lot of learners, but not drummers!
The tone on your guitar is beautiful... Just like the original song, it has a sort of haunting quality to it, this song has always been a favorite of mine, just beautiful guitar tones.. Thanks for making this video.
I've only just found your channel hunting for a John Mayer tune on RU-vid so I've scrolled through all your videos. And found this beauty. For about 25 yrs I've been trying to nail the intro of this beautiful track and been failing miserably. The lesson on how to use the whammy bar is just amazing, thanks so much for this. You've made this 45yr old UK gent very happy.
Just discovered this channel after years of learning songs in yt (algorithm...). I like your format more than other known channels that I won't mention (speak a lot, no tabs, endless repetitions...). Simple, effective, no nonsense, with tabs, chords behind single notes. You've got it all, love the format. I'm going to subscribe and look for other songs.
Grandes aulas, de grandes musicas, expostas de forma clara, e fácil de aprender. Mais uma vez, obrigado Dave! Great lessons, great music, clearly displayed, and easy to learn. Thanks again Dave!
I found you by searching for wish you were here tutorial. Now I’m learning wicked game. I love your instructional style. Very detailed and makes it so much easier to understand and learn. You are awesome!
So glad I found your channel. I've had a guitar for quite a while and not found a tutorial that works for me, but today I found yours and have made some progress. My biggest problem is and I realise this sounds a little odd, my fingers aren't very flexible?!?!?! So trying to get them in the right position is currently a little tricky, but I'm hoping it will improve the more I practice. Thanks so much for doing this tutorial
Are we not going to talk about how majestic his(or whoever it is) voice is at the end though? Like woahhhh, and very helpful tutorial. I am a beginner and have a hard time with chords for some reason.
I just subscribed to your channel. You make learning these songs fun and interesting. I'm 51 and had a guitar off and on but decided to really get into it now. Your channel is easy to follow along on and with practice I'll sound like I've known how to play for awhile. Thanks for taking the time to show all of us.
Thanks sssssooooo much dave I am 12 years old and ive been watching your videos since I was 10 and started playing guitar I love your videos so much you give all the details of every song 😀👍 keep up the good work
Another great lesson from my go to guitar guy on the internet. Awesome stuff mate. Thanks a lot for helping me learn to play these songs. Within 15 minutes I had the base down to a level that already makes me smile from ear to ear. The power of music is so great and finally being able to create that tone feels wonderful! (praise the inventor of the tremolo)
Great job. There is, however, another way to play the entire thing with one guitar. The differences are subtle at best. Most people can figure it out after this lesson then listening to the recording.
