Hey everyone!
So....I think you can probably tell I have fallen in love with this show...and with these two characters in particular. Their story is romantic in one way, and entirely questionable in another: you never really know who is playing who or whether the love was there or not. Everyone in the show has an agenda, and it doesn't necessarily go in harmony with the heart. But I do believe Richard loved Anne in this show, despite all the shit that is about to go down lol....I dare say I will be in foetal position by the end of it lol. I also didn't really like how scheming and vindictive they have made Anne in the last episode- sure she is a product of her environment and was never treated as anything but a pawn...but ugh I don't like how she was portrayed. The actress is good but the way her part was written didn't sit well with me. But then the pace of this show is so screwed up...should have been longer and less rushed in my opinion.
Anyway I thought this song worked really well with them as they both have motives.ambition and you're never really sure of Richard's true intentions.
