My first fish out in california was a brown rockfish that hit an umbrella rig off the north jetty out in mission bay. Looks exactly like the first fish in the video. Also remember some guys saying when the season is right in Norcal, you can fishbthw rockfish up shallow like calicos
Wow that’s wild getting a rockfish on the umbrella rigs!! You’re absolutely right, I’ve caught rockfish in super shallow water before! Just usually not on a fly line sardine near the surface! My first reaction when I saw that fish was rockfish!! Thanks for all the support 🤙
Nice Video Fired up! Looking forward to some more videos Thanks for helping me out with the gear I got my first Dorado on the Lexa & Phenix you hooked me up with. 👍 I like the bonito in the Smoker than turn into a cream cheese dip snack with Ritz crackers Even the cudda fish taco or Ceviche 🤷♂️
@@fired_up_fishing only thing is got to be quick with Bonita.. next thing you know they gone 🤣 always hunting bait fish unless you chum baits they stick around.. little tuna 🤣
Psyched for the drone drops! I recall barricuda making good fish tacos as well. I think you have to clean em fast and get em on ice.. kinda hard to go wrong with breaded fried fish 😋
