I'm coming tonight..yah!! Living my dream with Widespread Panic!! Finally live and direct!! Bigg Upps to one of the greatest bands of all times!! St.Louis here I come ❤❤
The ferocious rain that fell for practically the whole panic set was epic indeed. I was wearing commercial grade rain wear like you see on "The Deadliest Catch" and I still got soaked. This song was the highlight of a truly great set. Bill Evans is definitely a real master on the saxophone. Despite what were considerably less than good conditions, widespread panic put on their game faces and truly knocked it out of the park on that memorable night. Thanks guys!
K Maher this panic show was the best thing of the whole festival! Low spark, blue Indian I was flyingggggggg!! Going to Milwaukee this fall first time I’ve seen panic since Coney Island
I remember being at a Dead show at Alpine Valley in a heavy downpour - thank God it was a warm summer night - but still, folks had to help each other out of the "parking lot" - a grass field that was now pure mud. It was like pushing people's cars out of a snowstorm. Ah, good times. Bet that is still one hell of a memory for you!
OMG, LIVE? LAST YEAR? thank you ever so much for this presentation of low spark of high heeled boys, im getting chill bumps listening to this, high school, the lyrics, 40 years ago,wow
Whenever I thought I was entering a new relationship with a lady one of the first things I always asked was "So, in the way back times were you cool enough to listen to Traffic?" I married 1 that answered yes. I let quite a few "no's" pass right on by. Single again now, loving the Panic but Capaldi, Winwood & Mason were simply magic. I met Dave Mason after a show once long ago. That memory still brings goosebumps & tears.
What a great groove of a band. They have a wonderful feel for covers, without the noodling so often resorted to by "can I say it".... Grateful Dead.... in their final years.
John, I call them the best cover band in Rock & Roll history. Their covers are often better than the originals. There's also dozens of amazing collaborations from playing festivals over the years. The ones with John Fogerty are awesome.
Whose on sax and keys? By the way it’s super I’ll be in NYC or Milwaukee for my 1st show At 59 and have followed The Dead from 1977 at 14 at Barton Hall till Soldier Field in 92 at 30 then as they say [ life happened ] I gave up the leather tramp life [ and it was so righteous and mind blowing] and still explored all kind of music Widespread Panic from early 90s till today is the one band I’m dying to see Thanks for the post Great Job🍄
Not bad at all.Definitly better than Ricky lee Jones crappy version but they need to give that sax a break and have a better piano solo.I know everbodies a critic right.
