I don't get the Mikey vs. Xyz debates. Don't get me wrong, I think Jimmy Herring is an excellent guitarist and am really glad that he's joined the band and kept it going, but Mikey was the Panic.
absolute precision...he has taught me so much...slow down a bit...enjoy the notes...bend a with purpose...hold notes with more character...Houser and Kimock, and Garcia...the three best...
Mikey paired with John Keane produced a guitar sound that always got better and better every show. Won't ever be marched. Jimmy is the best fit for the boys as they continue on this magic ride
Awesome Geoff... I would love to see Mikey doing his thing on every song they did back then. Only then I would be able to learn play note for note all the Panic songs on guitar... funny how I once told Mikey backstage at one of their Pellham, AL shows that I had been playing guitar since 1979 but I didn't know how to play any Panic.... he laughed and said he didn't either.... lol... we were all nearly rolling on the floor laughing so hard !! ... Mikey Panic Ruled...RIP Buddy 🤘
Fantastic video BUT the audio is off from the video by a second or 2 at least towards the end... makes it funny watching his fingers along with what you're hearing as they don't line up. Still fun to watch tho!
oh sweet pea break this and my soul down Mikey will always be him I have let myself in its not the same and it's not like giving someone a fair chance there is no other true chance thank you Mikey for the ride it was a beautiful one
getting my work clothes on guys thank you Mikey you blessed us all thank you barb and sweet waker saw you darling when daddy brought you on stage the only time just take your dad and ride with amazing is not even a word that gives justice
The music is a 1/2 beat slow, something is wrong with sync b/t music and video. Used to think mh was too repetitive but have really come to miss him and the groove wsp had with him on board
As much as I understand what you are saying Jimmy is an accomplished artist musician long before he joined panic. He is perfectly capable of sounding like Mikey but then he wouldn't be some poser instead of who he is. I will always prefer Mikey with panic but those days are gone forever🤷♂️. We miss mikey
