Anxiety is something I've heard about my entire life. However, until I lost my sweet wife Pam I had never experienced it. For that matter, nobody in our family had ever had an issue. But, when you suffer a traumatic event like losing a spouse you mind starts to do some strange things. For me, I've battled a bit of anxiety the past 3 years but have also founds way to over this dreaded event.

I needed this today. Lost my husband 3 years ago and I have these awful days and do not know what to do. Nights are the worst. I walk from room to room wondering what I am going to do long term. Its sad we have to go through this, but I thank God every day for helping me along this journey. Thank you for giving me the idea of not letting this get me down. I am going to try something new tomorrow. Thank you for sharing.

It’s been a little over a year and a half for me. My husband and I were both introverts so going anywhere alone was something we naturally did if the other one was at work. We would go out to eat or to the movies alone because of his shift work (he was an Air Traffic Controller). When we were both off from work at the same time we went everywhere together. Getting motivated to even leave the house is my problem. Watching your videos is really helpful. You have such a great attitude. Thanks for sharing.

Its only been one yr and three months since my husband Douglas went home to be with the Lord. I still cry everyday. As silly as it sounds I have been watching The Golden Girls a lot. They were all widows except Dorothy and somehow those ladies just show me I can still find something to laugh about. I rem watching them when that show aired in 1985. I was just 18 yrs old and I fell in love with that show. I watched it with my grandmother whom I was very close to. She passed away in 1997. I rem thinking while watching that show on many occasions, they all lost their spouses while in their mid late 50s/early 60s and I just thought how sad. Not knowing one day that would happen to me. They even did episodes about how they still miss/love their late husbands. So in a strange way I feel like I have some type of connection to the ladies on The Golden Girls. It doesn't fix anything but at least I can find a reason to smile on the really hard days.

Been so hard...there's so many of us in the same situation...I wish we could find each other and not ever have to go to a restaurant alone. It's just been over a year for me and I haven't been out to eat because I would feel even more alone than I feel every moment. Thx jack. These help me so much.

What a ministry! What a calling over your life smh wow! I’m completely heart broken I lost my best friend my dearest fiancé killed a month before our wedding due to a car crash! I’ve dealt with death of parents my baby but losing a spouse I’m very heart broken sad and I want my life to come to an end at the tender age of 38. He was 39 I’ve dealt with anxiety depression now it’s ptsd I cried to the Lord on my way home from work that I tried so hard to hang on to my sanity why do I have to endure such a painful thing so many deeply painful things so early in life ? Im glad you are navigating this awful disparity in the most healthy way possible. Im just going thru your videos I believe the Lord lead me to because he knows where I am and he promised to mend the broken hearted psalms 147:3

My problem me n my wife who passed 8 1 23 at 50 from cancer within 3 mths, didnt get out, she wanted too in the end, after moving from the city to the country, and choas, and became introverts 24/7 we orbited each other, married 13 yrs, no kids, n were together when we were younger for 3 yrs and got back together after my 1st wife of 12 yrs left me for another, no kids with her as well.. Now feel guilty to go out n do things...because that's what she wanted us to do again, and now getting out feels so lonely and depressed that 'we' didn't get out more… any tips to overcome this feeling?

Hi Jack, this is my third year. Night before my wedding anniversary I could not get to sleep I just had thoughts of getting on a bridge and flying off this was constant for about a couple of hours I tried to block these thoughts and think of other things food, cars, women.and then it was morning another day on this planet. I watch most of your videos 👍👍
