Fun facts: the weisel 1 uses the I-5 diesel that was in every diesel audi in the 80s. Weisel 2 uses the beloved 4-cyl 1.9 TDI used in basically every mid-sized and lower VAG car from the late 90's to late 00's. My first stick shift car was a 2000 New Beetle TDI with that same engine. I want this thing irl so badly. They had a hybrid system prototype, 40 ish mpg, with a silent mode and regenerative breaking all on a Volkswagen engine with maybe 400 HP, total of 600 HP with both gas and electric. That shit was insane and it was made in like the 80s or 90s.
