Great review! Would love to know how you feel about your Wifas now that a few months have gone by. I started with new-to-me Riedell 121s and am looking to Wifas for my upgrade. BTW, what is that awesome music track during your backyard skate demo? I tried to Shazam it and didn't find it...
Ordered the same set up. Impatiently waiting. I’m curious about how you feel about them now. Especially how you been feeling about the avenger mag plate. Pls update us soon.
The position of the plates looks so different from your older skates specifically in the toe area, it looks like you have much more space from the tip of the boot to the beginning of the plate, did you get a shorter sized plate than the recommended ? With jam plugs does the sole of the boot on the toe area touches the ground on certain moves?
Why do you and other people have multiple pairs of roller skates? Is it just for different colors and different moods or is one pair better for some moves than the other? I have a pair of VNLA Godfather boots with the Century plate. It's my first pair of roller skates. What's your opinion of my skates? Being my first pair I don't know what's good or bad. Compared to rental skates, I love them. That's my measuring stick for now.
The reason for Multiple pairs of skates depends on the skater. Some collect skates, some sell skates so they use the different designs to push the product, some use skates to workout different styles and techniques of skating so each skate design may be different, some use different skates to match up outfits, some do it for show. I am given a lot of skates so I switch up and have different skates for a few reasons but the main reason is sometimes I just want something different or new so I get it. Good and bad will be based on what feels good and right to you and the style you’re looking to perfect. Usually folks first pair of skates are designed based on where they are skating at mostly.
@@RoCsWorld Oh crap! My bank account doesn't want me to start another collection. I already collect enough things. I'm only 6 - 7 months into roller skating. I would never have thought people had a roller skates collection.
I have 4 pairs of skates. Each is setup for a different type of skating. I park, trail, and dance skate both indoor and outdoor. Each of those setups are Very different so instead of having on pair and switching it up for the type of skating I want to do (which is what I used to do) I have just slowly collected skates during sales so that I don’t have to swap setups! That’s also mostly my excuse, but at the same time I just like (and maybe bought) my skates because of the aesthetic 😂 the wifas I just order though are truly an upgrade from the skates I was coming out of though, so that maybe also justifies the fourth pair lol
