Since this was his clinic, he would have known she had abandoned her patients for days at a time. He would have already talked to her about it and there would have already been problems before he learned of the affair.

Ofc he has every right to do whatever he wanted, but his personal wishes has caused his daughter to become a greedy & horrible person over it. Honestly only reason for me to end things with a person would be problems and irreparable incompatibilities in that relationship, not someone else on the horizon. Some people are just not compatible.
