Just a suggestion with any engine that has sat that long pull the plugs and squirt some ATF or marvel down the cylinders let it sit over night . The next day crank over the engine with no plugs and prime the oil pump . Good way to bust some rings if there is a rust ring inside and score the cylinders from firing up dry and al the oil has drained back down into the crank case from the cam and rod and main bearings . That will score the rod and main bearings having no prime in the oil pump I just cringed when you try to start that poor thing dry no lube or pre oil

I would definitely get a spare impeller for the water pump. Starting it dry on land will burn 🔥 the impeller up. Hooking it up to the hose is key. My 1968 howard flat bottom fuel tank are linked together and self balance.
