California Gov. Gavin Newsom and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis went head to head during a Fox News debate. As the debate came to an end, both governors decided to keep going, but Newson’s wife reportedly came on stage to end the event during the commercial break.

I lived in California in 97 and it was pretty nice then. I've lived in California and Florida for work since 2022. I see why everyone is leaving, you can't afford to live under a bridge there. A few coworkers lived in their cars and vans and showered in Planet Fitness. They were saving up to leave California. California has to be the worst run state I've visited. Maryland is pretty bad also. High taxes, homelessness, and crime. I don't care about politics. I just believe what I see.

This is important, especially with everyone saying "oh but red states poorer than blue states" I live in arkansas, my rent is 600~ my streets are clear of trash, no poop and needles littering the sidewalks/roads, trash is picked up every friday with little to no issue. I've been working the same 20$ an hour job for 1.5 years, and right now i have saved over 14k. Red states are "poorer" because we don't need as much as california, most here are happy and don't need all the insanely high rents, fancy crap thats just there to markup prices. Its just sad that when coastal people hear Arkansas their assumption is we are all broke, living paycheck to paycheck when in actuallity most of us are able to make rent, groceries etc AND save a large chunk for our futures. I think if californians want to be convinced they need to take a trip down here inorder to see what a self sustaining state looks like.

The overwhelming hubris of Newsom is palpable. Newsom didn't know he was failing as the debate wore on but his savvy wife did. When Hannity got the guys to agree to extend it an extra 20 minutes, the network went to commercials and Jennifer Newsom burst on set yelling "We're done here". Truer words were never spoken. Nothing there? The best beaches in the lower 48, Disney parks are the best, NASA, no state income tax. I have traveled all fifty states, the only thing Florida don’t have is mountains and their national parks are okay but their two nationals seashores parks are the best of the 10 nationals seashores. By the way Florida has panthers, bisons, the smallest black bears and deers in the world, flamingos, monkeys and one the largest bobcats and owls preserves in North America. They have the fastest growing economy and they respect police officers the left don’t respect police officers.
