Tatum could not have said it better , "No one really asked me those deep questions. . ." I love the deep conversations you have with your kids and their friends. These conversations are so awesome to listen to! I'm a 31 yo female who has been with my husband for 12 years, married for 10 with a 10 year old son and these are conversations I hope to have with our son. I love these, keep it up, Leanne!

Exactly, I am the same age with the same age son, I'd love for my 11 y/o son, even my 9 year old to hear this episode. Maybe I'll just play it in the car one day 😄

Hello LeeAnn (or the person managing the YT page) can you make an episode where you explain or go in to how to have such good conversations? I feel like it's a lost art. Too often have I been in a conversation that felt forced or empty, but yours always feel natural. You ask follow up questions, help your kids explain stuff, form the feelings in to words or concepts. I would really like a video of you going in to this topic.

Enjoy the podcast. As a parent of a 23 and 19 year old it’s so refreshing to hear thoughts of young people. For what it’s worth both my boys are at Clemson and love it. Heck our entire family went to Clemson. If your daughter’s friend or her parents need local help or advice we’re happy to help.

The thing Georgia said about her friends not putting in the amount of effort she did into the relationships resonated a lot with me. It's something I'd never realized, but characterizes a lot of my high school friend experiences.

I wish I could go back and redo high school. I never applied myself and wasn’t looking to the future. I think it’s important to have a general idea of what you want to do out high school and then immediately expand on that through college. I took a break between high school and college, didn’t serve me well. I’m 34 and I’m still figuring out who I am lol. It’s great how y’all can sit down and talk openly about whatever, I don’t think many have that kind of relationship with their parents. I remember last day of senior year, it was exciting but sad at the same time. I wasn’t a popular kid or anything but being around your classmates for 4 years you do grow to enjoy being around them whether you’re friends or not. It was bittersweet knowing I’d most likely never see those people again.

I can understand what you're saying about the fellow classmates; some people look back on the high school years wistfully. personally I could not wait to get out of not only the school, but the town and I didn't and still don't care if I ever see a good 75% of them again. it's sad to say that, but I never really had a good time in high school. no dates, no proms, no dances; I spent the majority of my time alone, working on music. I'm 3 times as old as Georgia and Tatum so believe me, I'm wayy over it but life began for me; After I graduated! and after 30, life became awesome! so here, I am at 43, and while life isn't as good as it could be; I like who I am and I like living. that part at the end where they said to stand up for people that can't stand up for themselves was beautiful. Thank you

****** ATTENTION!***** You should do a Live Cast and continue discussing education with both Flo and Georgia. It's very interesting to hear about their experiences in public and rich, private schools. I'm a teacher, so it's intriguing how things are different between their age group and when you and Bert and I were in school. Everything has changed so much in public schools, but I have no idea what it's like in a school for wealthy people. I only make $2,500 a month in Nashville. Oh, by the way, I'm from Kentucky. I'm country like you.

These girls are strong to be able to talk openly about their life. If I were in their seat, I would be extremely uncomfortable. This entire episode feels like an interrogation to me rather than an interview. Leanne pushing Georgia on the fact that Georgia doesn't disclose every aspect of her personal life to her mother doesn't help.
