Real talk but I will say that loyalty USED to be a responility and cornerstone of marriage, but that concept is largely the covenant of marriage from the Abrahamic religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam ... a majority probably 75% of people don't care about these kind of values anymore and now they live based on todays cultural norms which is just bein outside doing whatever they feel like, married or not .. real sad state of affairs. Just look at the divorce stats for the last 10 years ... not a single year has been less than 60% of marriages resulting in divorce within 10 yrs or less...

Most men don't have the ability to cheat even if they want to. Women rate around 80% of men as unattractive, not just ok or average but actually unattractive. Women only "swipe right" on dating apps 5% of the time. So the reason you don't see it is because most men can't do it.

Buffo: No, What that guy did to his ex wasn't The Golden Rule. It was Revenge. They're Very different. The Golden Rule is "Treat others as you would have them treat you." So, it's all about treating others the way You want to be treated. Revenge is about treating others how you feel they've treated you, might treat you, or you've heard they're treating you. It's all about giving back any behavior to the person who did something negative to you. If that guy was implementing The Golden Rule, he would Not have lowered himself to having sex with some random just because his ex was a 304. The Golden Rule means he would've just been honest with her about how he felt about what she did because he would like to be treated with honesty; broke it off with her cleanly and efficiently because he wouldn't want someone to give him false hopes of working it out if that's not what was possible; and went about his life because he wouldn't want the ex to haunt his life like a ghost. That's what I was taught. But, it's possible this is different than what someone else was taught

The golden rule is evil. When I treat you as I want to be treated, what if you don't want to be treated that way? The golden rule is already proven wrong right there. The golden rule eliminates values that individuals seek. For example, I like to kiss people on the cheek when I greet them. By the golden rule, I should kiss every human being on the planet on the cheek, regardless of their values ( if they want to be kissed or not ). And they would be forced to kiss me on the cheek in return. Forcing people to act against their values veers into slave territory. You're very smart. It seems to be general to cover the majority of people, not outliers who have different ideas outside of "the norm." Your example of kissing on both cheeks isn't covered by The Golden Rule. It's too specific to cultural and personal norms. Most Asians, as well as people with a touch issue due to past occurrences, mental and emotional aspects, and just personal preferences don't like to be kissed o even touched the strangers, so at all. So, Their aversion to handshakes and other intimate /friendly interactions are due to specific personal and/or cultural differences. The Golden Rule is simply the idea of greeting someone rather than ignoring them because you wouldn't wish to be ignored when in a situation that calls for a greeting of Some Kind. But, again, I understand what you're saying. I just don't agree with it being as specific as you do. And that's okay. It's not something we'd go to war over. haha

There is no such thing as a general rule without specifics. All your interactions with people are specific. What you are doing is emotionally rationalizing why you FEEL the golden rule is good, despite the factual evidence you can test yourself. "Do onto others as you'd have them done unto you" means exactly that - what you want done specifically to you ( there is nothing BUT specific actions in reality) needs to be forced by others to be done. I know it's hard to realize something many people think is good is actually evil, but the golden rule is absolutely evil. Welcome to this side of the intellectual Rubicon, my friend. the thing about lie detector test is that they can be wrong and the results revolve around stress so if the person gets an increased heart rate during one of the questions it could lead to a false positive as even the creator of the lie detector knew this but it can imply that if you are stressing during specific questions that usually means someone is lying but it can still be wrong at times

All videos feel legit except the lie detector ones... Like, they were found to be too unreliable to figure out whether someone lied during those tests or whether they were just surprised by the question. So idk, those videos feel a lil bit staged by the people who were reading the results (or like they were fishing for surprised reactions by suddenly asking those question about infidality). Maybe those people who were 'caught' by the lie detectors were really cheating, but it could also be possible that they were just surprised by the question.... Oki, baii
