Working in an animal rescue myself it’s tough to see the neglect and suffering that’s happening - it doesn’t seem to stop. And then I watch videos like this and it reminds me that there are still a lot of amazing humans around the world. Heroes are everywhere ♥️ I am so thankful for compassionate and kind people

She really is adorable and I love her spunky personality. Our lab became our unintentional emotional support pup when I was going through breast cancer. And she really brought so much comfort to our later in life third son who just turned 12. She is so empathetic and really has gotten us through. I’m so happy that your pup does the same for you. Thinking of her being used to breed and having her puppies taken breaks my heart. I am so glad she is living the life she deserves.

What a wonderfully beautiful story about Espy. As with you, I could not imagine a world without my girl Chesnut. She has been there for me throughout the Black Summer fires that saw us both having to live at my brigade fire station as the battle with the flames played out. No sooner had life returned to normal, when covid and the lockdowns hit. During lockdown I was diagnosed with PTSD as a result of over serving for seventy continuous days of those Black Summer fires and witnessing of loss and suffering so many others. Chesnut could always read my mood swings and as soon as she sensed my tension and anxiety she was there to calm and reassure me. If it wasn't for her, I would not be here today. I can relate so much to your beautiful story and thank you for posting it here on You Tube. You are both wonderful people and so is Espy.

If only there were more stories like this out there and on the tv blues, ironically back in the day my brother almost gave me a heart attack, I was in my bedroom getting dressed when I heard “something running up the second floor stairs sounding weird so I opened my bedroom door to see a dog that looked more like a small buffalo running full throttle right at me , I froze and thought wow so this is how I’m going out but he just put his big paws on my chest and with his tail wagging started licking my face! The rest is history anyway I hope all three of you have a great and blessed life together I thank you for your kindness and love and I’m very sure you’re pup feels the same ❤😊🐶
