Wow!! That color is gorgeous. I 'm a blonde, and I am sold on that color! That looks soooooo natural. I think that is the prettiest color I have seen on you yet. You look amazing outside in the sunshine. I can tell you live in Washington. I live in Oregon, and we got slammed with 16 inches of snow! Unfortunately my beautiful front and back yard looks like a war zone. Thank the Lord everyone is ok. We lost our electricity for a week. Now its' starting to warm up. Take care. God Bless.
Hi Jill. I’m so happy to see you reviewing wigs again. This wig looks beautiful on you and the lightness around your face just brightens your face up so beautifully. Thanks for the review. Eileen
Great review! And the color looks amazing in natural daylight. I was a little undecided at first - I grew up with ‚dirty blonde‘ hair, so I‘m biased against too much dark, muddy tones mixed in, but outside it looked just perfect. Very natural and multi dimensional.
Oh My Gosh! Jill - this is a winner! The color is so gorgeous on you. Its multi-dimentional and done so well. And love, love, love the up and away from the hairline that Requel Welch seems to do so well. The style, the color... you are Rocking this! Gorgeous! Love how you've evolved, so to speak, since I started following you around 2 yrs ago. Shaded praline or shaded biscuit was your favorite. And time went on and you dipped your toes in the topper pond and other color choices for your helper hair. It's been a wonderful journey being a subscriber... you've informed, inspired and built a trust with us! Thank you for bringing such value and being adorably real!!!
Aww....thank you so much Julie for this super sweet comment. This is incredibly kind and you truly made my whole day! SO SWEET. Thanks for your positive energy ...always. Hugs~
Jill you are such a beautiful lady everything looks so good on you also I have learned so much from watching you I am definitely going for a topper this summer x
Looks like better coverage than any wig I have, mostly Esteticas. Love the color on you, was afraid it would be too brown, but it is nice and blonde for you. Hope you keep it so we can see how you style it. Winner, winner, chicken dinner! Patti is a great teacher, love her.
Wow! I love this one on you! 😍 I'm so glad you decided to try a different shade of blonde (not as ashy) and the roots are on point. Because of you in adding this one to my wish list! Heck, I may even get her in the same color! Thanks for your fabulous review! Have a great hair day! 💁♀️💖✌️
I just found you, so I am not "used to" you in your lighter hair--- I just looked at you at the end of the video (with the beautiful shots inside and out) and then went back to look at your introduction (before the wig) and HANDS DOWN---this is a GREAT GREAT COLOR for you and your skin tone!!! GUUUURLLL you should be wearing this all the time. I am going to search to see if you ever got this same color in the "flirty" wig.... (I've been looking at that one too). PS: BEAUTIFUL
Jill it really is gorgeous on you...outside shows not only texture but the true color (so important to know what you are really getting). Great review Jill!
Thank you! I am so excited I found another color in this line I can feel comfortable w/ choosing! So scary ordering a new color without seeing it in person!
I bought this wig in this same color, after seeing how wonderful you look in it. I am not new to wig wearing and am a hairstylist myself. I have petty good knowledge of how to care for my wigs. I am at a loss however, about Rachel Welch's heat friendly fiber. It's beautiful for a short time and very quickly get fuzzy and a tangled mess. I have had mine a month and it looks old already. Not what I expected for the cost. Do you have help for me. Please do a video on how to keep this type silky smooth like it is when you first get it. Thank you for all your good advice!
I have the same experience with a Raquel Welch heat friendly wig. I’ve had it one month. I spent over $500 at a salon which was a mistake but I did it. I really expected it to last longer than a month and I try to only wear it no more than three hours a day.
@@marcia6722 same here. I am having the same problem with my heat friendly Raquel Welch wigs. I’m just sick about it because my unfiltered is my favorite. Today I decided to try a little water in a bottle with a drop of conditioner in it and i sprayed the ends very well and it seems maybe to have helped. 🤷♀️
@@cjylstanley1268 yes I have shaded hazelnut and I love the color. I love the lace front of RW wigs and the monofilament top but the fibers coil up and it feels very gummy.
It's ok...i just love you in the lighter colors with your flawless completion. And I find the shorter is better for you shape face...but that is just me.
This wig is one of the nicest I’ve seen on you! It just says “I’m not a wig” - great color. I’ve had this color in Straight Up With a Twist and was so please. Thanks!
I love this wig on you, which means I'm gonna love it on me! I love your reviews and tips. Can't tell you how much you are appreciated for doing this. Thank you!
Looks great on you!! Love the shade. Thanks so much for all your handy tips and tricks with a new wig...just got my first one recently, myself, and appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks for sharing and you have a new sub. Another Jill. Not too many Jills out there. :D
HI … could you do a wig comparison for simmer and editors pick? they look a lot alike... is one shorter than the other? this color is soooooo pretty on you...keep up the good work!
Love the Welch wig and that is my color. I get more compliments on this color. It looks fantastic on you.The style and color. Oh wow, looking at the single pics and you are gorgeous. I've got to order this wig.
Hi Jill, would you please include you face measurement--top of forehead (using Patti's 4 finger space) to bottom of chin? That would really be helpful! Love this color on you! I am a fan of shorter layers around the face--I feel the same as you about it being maximum length for my liking.
Yay....another new wig chat! I was so happy to see you reviewing Simmer! I was holding back from ordering it until someone my own age reviewed it. It really does make a huge difference ! It looks so pretty on you and I adore that color! I’ve never tried it (usually buy Shaded Biscuit)....but I really love it! Thank you Jill! Great review and I’m so happy you’re doing these again! 😊🎉
Thank you so much! So happy you found this helpful, and thank you for your encouraging words. I am happy to have the wig bug again...but, my bank account isn't. LOL
OMG! I just got this last week in shaded buscuit... I wasn't sure, but after seeing it on you, I'm having second thoughts and think I'll keep it. It's my 1st Raquel Welch wig I usually go Jon Renau or Ellen Willie. I'm now excited to try it more seriously. Thank you for going back to wigs and the timing of this review couldn't be better for me xxxx
Gorgeous wig!! It looks so beautiful 😍 on you! Love it!! It looks good inside and us stunning in the sunlight, you really did a great job, homerun for sure 💖 💃
Jill, the SS Cappuccino is actually considered a cool blonde, not as ash as Shaded Biscuit, but definitely not a warm blonde. If you are looking for a somewhat warmer RW blonde, try Shaded Wheat which is RL 14/22 SS, a bit lighter than RL12/22SS, but a very pretty blonde. Thanks again
This is a beautiful color. Another product I like for keeping the fibers off my face is Shaping Creme, I believe by Beautimark also. Beautimark products are on Amazon too.
No, Lora is not exaggerating! And I love the Palm Springs Blonde on you and the cute way you styled it. You are so wonderful at how you make these wigs your own!🙂
Hi Jill, Thank you so much for all your videos, i really appreciate them!!! I purchased a topper from a wig store, of which i don't know the brand, but after a lot of looking online, i think its the top billing by RW and i do know the color is the RL 12/22SS Shaded Cappuccino. I've been wanting to get a Jon Renau topper, but not sure about the color, would you say its close to the 12FS8? P.S. Simmer is very pretty on you, but i think they all look pretty on you!
Great in the sun. And I have been wondering about that length. Seeing it on you, I do believe I can pull it off. Did you glue front and sides . You're great Jill and I truly appreciate all the advice.
Hi Jo! No...for the review I just use a fish next cap delio to gather all my hair up so I can flatten it out, and then a wig grip. If I were to wear it ALL DAY...I would not use a wig grip and use the IT STAYS in the front perimeter to secure it.
That is a legitimate concern....especially on these medium length styles. I prefer the fibers so much more over the non-heat friendly fibers, but usually won't invest now in them unless it's a shorter style (like Ignite)....so, I will let you all know how this one wears. ;)
Beautiful color on you. Would love to see the Flirt Alert in that color on you. Any chance of that happening? I am thinking of getting it and now that I see that color, I think that is closer to my real hair. Thanks for all you do.
@@JillLynnBeautyTherapy Thanks...i'll wait to see it on you then decide if I want to buy it. It looks interesting but not sure it is long enough. You have a wonderful way of showing wigs and I so appreciate you. Thanks
“Hi Jill it’s Pam “. I LOVE YOU & YOUR PROGRAMS♥️ I have learned so much about makeup & wigs but I need to see you style a wig if possible. You make them look so good AFTER they come out of the box. You have the talent girl‼️
Hi Jill, 2 years ago when I first started wearing wigs, I saw you in a video with a beautiful long blonde wig and I always wanted it. I remember you saying how beautiful you felt in it but of course you said that with alot wigs. Do you remember the name of that wig? ty
Love this wig, like to buy however. Not offered choice of cap size (large) for Simmer at Patti’s pearls? Just color choice or a “my custom sizing” at added $100.
Debating on this wig or unfiltered. I have a Raquel Welch, too billing and can’t get the lace front to look right. I used it stay but it’s not sticking. Does it stick over makeup??
This style (Simmer) looks better on you than on me. It’s longer on me. I’m soooo surprised you like the color since it’s so warm and not ashy or cool at all (with your fair skin). I like that you took her outside. :) As always, YOU are so beautiful!
I always have to keep in mind that for instance...watching Taz, she is a petite lady in every way, so anything she's showing will be longer and fuller on her. I think it's tricky to 'tell' what they may look like on ourselves, but if we keep in mind body type, face shape etc...we learn to alter our perception a bit. This color is really pretty. It really surprised me that it wasn't as ashy as everyone said! I do have a warmer undertone (even though I am fair) and was happy that it wasn't as ashy as I thought it would be! My makeup does not match though...haha! That actually is driving me a little nuts when watching this! LOL At the very end I changed my lipstick color! Haha!
Jill Lynn Beauty Therapy I just adore you! I think we’d be best friends in “real life” because we both love makeup and wigs and we’re probably about the same age! I’m 51 FYI 😊
Looks very natural on you beautifulI lady. Is this real flat on the top. I have a really small head and need a little permettse on the top. It's very stunning on you. I think you can wear so many wigs and they all look so beautiful on you. I would never think you are wearing a wig. I have to be very careful because of my small head and face some just wash my right out. Thank you for your time and hard work it is so wonderful to have all you lady's giving us all this information.
You are very kind, Patty....thank you! I do think you could get volume with this one...but, I suppose it all depends on what your interpretation is on 'more volume'. haha! It does have some 'natural' volume and a little hair spray may all you need. It sits flatter on your head right out of the box....but, as you may have noticed that even after running the wide tooth pick through it...it really lifted those fibers up and off. This style won't give you a look and lift like say...Ignite there on top, because the lack of permatease there.
Thank you, Liz! I may have to thin the front a little bit. Wore it out and about yesterday for the first time and think I may feel a little more comfortable in this one if it's a tiny bit thinned...mostly in the front area. I will live with it for awhile though before I attempt that! ;)
