Good round up of Wigan, seems to be more going on than ever! How are the derelicts of Tony Little 15s Callaghan getting on? (Old post office, king street west, the grand hotel, etc) Hopefully all of them are not left to rot.

About time we got a positive Wigan-based news story. So lets hear it for the painters, who've done a super smart job on the exterior of that cinema. Good work guys 👏🖌

Reminds me why even as a Wigan lad I never go back there anymore living betwixt, Wigan, Leigh, Warrington and St.Helens. Of those four only Warrington has any appeal. The other three are dreary places of misery. Well done Labour. While you rack up debt and destroy once thriving town centres. Warrington racks it up too but at least delivers summat half decent. The only deal to be had in the Wigan Borough is that of a protection racket, give up your hard earned for nowt back other than to be left alone by council crooks. Blair's new labour was right back in 1997, things can only get better what we didn't realise was they meant after they and the continuation blue new labour tories have finished with us.
