It's amazing how two small club's meet in the fa cup final. Amazing

The stadium erupting as Ben Watson scored the winner is one of my favourite moments in English football. And also Dave Whelan celebrating in unbridled joy.

Don’t mind me, I’m just here because Wigan just beat Man City in the FA Cup, again.

The only reason Manchester City won the FA Cup in 2019 was because they didn't face Wigan that year. Those are Facts.

My papa, Billy Sutherland, played for Wigan against Man City when they lost 1-0 in the FA Cup in 1971 and he always remembers it as his biggest game (at the time Wigan were a non-league team playing in front of 46,000). Watching this game with him was something special and I'll never forget it.

I'm a Spurs fan, when we won the CC in 07 beating the gooners n the chavs I thought was an amazing feat, all things considering. But this was just fab, Martinez and the lads did Wigan, a rugby town ffs, a whole new level of pride, especially in their relatively short history. Just shows what you can do with belief and a plan - great story, great game.

I am from Romania and I was watching the same teams playing in the cup but this time the game from Februray 2018, I never actually knew Wigan had ever won the FA Cup because I'm not so into football. I was rooting for Wigan and when they scored I couldn't have been happier for them

Not trying to take anything away from them but Wigan was actually favored in every match they played in this cup run except the quarters against Everton where they weren't underdogs by that much and of course this game. They were even favored in the semis. It was still a great, unexpected run if for nothing else the final itself but it wasnt quite the Cinderella story it was made out to be.

Every halftime I have to watch this.... it was such an amazing game.... and back then, people would ask me why I root for Wigan... and I would tell them it is like rooting for the Tampa Bay Bucs.... nobody cares about them.... well Tampa won a Super Bowl, and like Ted Lasso has the slogan, "BELIEVE" on the fictional tv show.... that happens to be our new slogan..... 2 more years and maybe we will be back in the Premier League..... because you know....
