FACT: This was going to be the third game in the Zool franchise, but the publishers were so unimpressed with Data Design Interactive's work that they scrapped the game altogether. DDI then resurrected the project and released it as this abomination.
Apparently there is a rumor that the other 3 ddi platformers were originally going to be apart of the zool game. But later just broke it up into separate games
I’d like to know where the beta Zool 3 Screenshots are. I’ve seen them before but have never been able to find the images again. It’s an interesting discovery in video game history.
That’s pretty cool. I think Rymani a former youtuber played it. I hope Zool 2 gets a Remaster of some Sort. Because unfortunately theirs a Glitch on the Dos Box version, after completing Level 2 the stage just softlocks for some unknown reason.
@@knuclear200x I agree that the Switch also has duds, but it also has a larger library of games due to physical and digital releases. The current number of games for that system sits at 4091.
