He used to in the 90’s, where he was pretty much seen as Mario’s equal and rival. Now he’s just the mascot of a party game series and another side character in mario sports games :(

She's an assist trophy. Shame she's not a full character, but if an SSB5 comes out, we can hope she'll be like Little Mac and become a full character too.

little mac is an excellent example of copy and paste. Ashley as full Character would be better than him. And.......i dont like this instant KO idea in Mac´s Move´s.

AyaneOfDeath How is Little Mac a copy and paste? He has a totally diverse combat style in comparison to most players. Besides, the 1 hit KOs look like they're going to take a lot of time to build up (Like Wario's farting in Brawl), so it probably won't be too overpowered. And if anything, at least he's balanced in the way that he is horrible in the air (weak, vulnerable, and crappy recovery.) I do wish that Ashley was a character though. Would make for 5 female characters in the game and she could have a very diverse move set.

One problem with your comment The WiiU is in no absolute way a handheld. you can take the pad with you sure, but, why. you need to be in range of the console. it's a home console

Wario isn't usually the main character in the WarioWare series because he just get's his friends to design most of the games.

They're called User IDs. But get a Wii U, Nintendo Network IDs are only on the Wii U. You can play games online with better ability, post stuff on Miiverse (it's like a community, with over a million people), Buy stuff from the eShop, Watch your favorite stuff from TV, and there's even the Wii Menu where you can play Wii Games, and get stuff from the Wii Shop Channel!

This has been an ongoing series since the creation of Wario Ware. The point of Wario Ware was to just mash up a lot of fast paced and fun minigames onto 1 game. Since then, it's just came part as of the sequels. There are still stages where wario is present but there are different stages with different characters "hosting" the minigames if you will. It's actually pretty fun if you try it out.

People just dont notice the difference, you just dont want to. 3D World has many different Gameplay mechanics, such as climbing walls, a 3D perspective etc. And 1 question for you, what is you favorite game?

Yup, an example is 3D land/World. That is not the same thing as Super Mario 64 or Galaxy. It changed the perspective of the Gameplay and added Multiplayer, which is something they had never added to a main series game.They change Engines, unlike most games nowadays, which want to look realistic. They try new gameplay and engines, as I said, so yeah, and may I ask why you have a picture of Kirby when you ''Don't like them''?

No, WarioWare has different characters in which you play quick MicroGames that take a few seconds to play. These are long mini games that have different rules to each.

It takes time to translate it and get all the other things working as well. I assume that since it is a Wario game, there will be at least some dialogue. So they have to record it, then there's mixing and mastering, as well as getting all the other languages and dialects out of the way, so there's a lot that goes into making the game. Since most of these games start in Japanese minds, the game is built to have Japanese dialogue and instruction, and that's the reason why they need to translate.

I agree. The only games I'm genuinely excited for are, Mario kart 8 and Smashbros, Earthbound . ( Xenoblade and bayonetta looked interesting ) and these games are not coming out any time soon, the 3DS however, has MANY games, I'm mostly on that, ignoring my Wii U :\

I think that might be taking it a bit too literally. In the SNES commercials "Now you're playing with power" didn't accompany some kid shoving their finger into a power outlet.

In my opinion Nintendo should have gone back to the basics with the Wario-Ware series. The gamepad could offer many unique microgames and I'm pretty sure Nintendo could have included all of these games and 500 microgames at the very least. Wario-Ware Smooth Moves is similar to my analogy and that game was great.

Boy I would have loved to see full footage of actual gameplay of this game, with somebody's genuinly satisfied opinion of it on RoosterTeeth's "The Patch" video podcast, but Nintendo doesnt let people do that. For no real reason

Why not look through the catalog of older games on Wii? It will hold you over longer and cost you less money. There's also the Wii's Virtual Console and WiiWare (not the Wii U's). Just an idea from yours truly.

Yes but it's only one of the many games in this compilation. Though some may complain that it would be similar to other Wario-Ware titles, I for one think it would have been an amazing title if those steps were taken. Any objectives?

psvita has sold 2.2 million units, nintendo 3ds has sold 31 million units. ps3 has sold about 75 million units, nintendo wii has sold about 100 million units

No need to go overboard. Some people want their game to be graphically impressive and some don't. I do have to say that there is a difference between being graphically impressive and graphically beautiful. For instance, Okami is a beautiful game while Crysis is a graphically impressive game. However, those 2 are different types of graphical fidelity. I do like beautiful things more than impressive things but that's a personal preference.

I dont use handhelds, i dont travle enough! I'am however quite excited for the upcomming Wii U lineup! I recently bought mine (havent even arrived yet!) And there are already 10ish+ titles i wanna get my hands on! :) To be fair, a lot of them arent released yet, and stuff like Zelda arent even properly announced yet o.o

All this has made me rethink my opinion of Nintendo. I think I'll look into it more and buy a Wii U and try out some old Wii games and new Wii U games. Maybe they are fun and I'm being close minded.

Have you ever seen Mario on a PS3? I mean, you could get other Wii U games on a PS3 (like Rayman Legends, for example) but I'm sure Mario is gonna stay at the Nintendo consoles.

Some reviewers like GT and IGN gave it fairly mediocre reviews, however Game Informer gave it an 8. I'd like to think that you need to be in the right atmosphere to enjoy it. It's a light hearted fun party game which can be really enjoyed when played with the right people / in the right mindset. That's why I've bought it anyway :)

Actually, I'm clever as hell. I like Nintendo so I troll their videos to get their games more attention, albeit a small amount at that, but nobody really realizes it and it's kind of hilarious. but nobody ever notices the comments where I say this so it's all good.

Huh. Looking at the comments, it's kind of surprising how many people don't get that the Wario Ware games have been purposely low-tech and childish for years. It's just the style of the game, meant to be quirky and fun rather than high-tech and innovative. They're really addicting and fun, if you actually bothered to try playing them.

The best idea would be to leave the internet alone, some people just have to agrue to make sure that everyone know they have a "much better experience" then everyone else when they play videogames, even though they spend the majority of their time writing theese types of comments.

yes, being able to look at a controller instead of a screen for uninterrupted gameplay no matter where you go is SUCH a bad idea. And if you break you're neck from looking at two places, you have no place in video games anyway.
