Rosalina appears in the newest Mario Party, is playable in the newest Mario platformer, is a fighter in the new Smash Bros AND returns for the newest Mario Kart. it suddenly turned into the "Year of Rosalina" at the end of this year for me!

This game is probably the reason I'll buy a Wii U.

Okay, Nintendo, it's 2014 now. This is looking to be the Wii U's big year...let's make it happen. First comes Donkey Kong, and then comes this glorious looking game. No offense to Donkey Kong and 3D World (I love 3D World), but I think this game will truly be the game that saves the Wii U.

It's has almost been 10 years since Mario Kart 8 first launched on the Wii U. It started with 32 tracks, and now we have triple the amount of tracks in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe!

I think Nintendo should add Captain Falcon and his F-Zero Machine to the roster of Mario Kart 8 characters in order to raise some attention to the series. Kind of like what they did to Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus on Super Smash Bros. Kind of really want a new F-Zero game and they haven't made one for quite a long long time...

The reason why Mario collects coins in all his other games is just so he's able to afford all these fancy vehicles in Mario Kart.

DEM GRAPHICS, DAT GAMEPLAY, DAT ANTI GRAV, DEM ATVS, DEM TRIKS, RETURN OF DEM BIKES, and DAT HANG-GLIDER what does forza have real cars and top gear courses

Happy 10th anniversary Mario Kart 8! It's hard to believe, nobody was really expecting this back when the game first released, but MK8 managed to be the last numbered mainline Mario Kart for over 10 years now. It has been a really long road, first the great base Wii U game, then its great Updates (including 200cc) and its DLC, then the Switch port which is the definitive version to play this game (including all prior content with many QoL enhancements), then further additions via Updates, and even later the MK8DX Booster Course Pass which added so many new tracks and characters, and it was also great even if the graphical quality was not on par with the base game. Though every one of these updates, DLC packs, and other additions meant that MK9 would not be coming any time soon and that was somewhat annoying, still glad them all happened, they extended MK8's life and made it an even better game. Now that it and MKT are done, looking forward to MK9, after 10 years of MK8 it's about time for it, and it's its time to shine. After all this time, I'm sure Nintendo will be able to deliver an even better successor in the future!

Aaaand Rosalina is added to this game as well. Awesome! Thanks Nintendo. I'm buying a Wii-U just for Smash and Mario Kart 8.

I hope Nintendo releases a version of Mario Kart 8 with a Wii U gamepad. If your listening Nintendo this would make A LOT of people very happy. But even more than that find a way to really utilize the two gamepads. Maybe have local co-op off screen on the two gamepads or something. Thumbs up if you agree!

WiiU was an amazing console granted I didn’t get it until very later like 4, 5ish years later but it was all worth the wait and time because it is such ana amazing console and so much fun to play with especially this one I remember trying to unlock Rosalina (because she my favorite character) with my sister, brother and best friend and oh my god! So many races we had to do to unlock her lol till this day i still use my wiiu and proudly!

I cannot possibly wait until May for this game!! If this is ANYTHING like Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii in quality than we automatically have our best racer of 2014 bar NONE!

I suppose this is small, but...I'm crossing my fingers that Nintendo remasters (and uses) the Ranking Theme you hear after a race that came from Mario Kart: Double Dash. I played the game a whole lot, and it's always been a really cheery theme. Haha, it actually gave me another reason to want to get to 3rd place or above. Most importantly, it reminds me that I'm having fun with the game. I like that! ^^

So did anyone else notice that if you pause at about 0:08 you can read the Flight Display Board? From the sound of it they're very likely the names of courses. Maybe even some of the ones in this video? *Cloud Top Cruise* 1:18 *Thowmp Ruins* 0:50 *Dolphin Shoals* *Sweet Sweet Canyon* 0:35 I highly doubt that Sand Stage was Dolphin Shoals. Also at 0:07 there's a blink and you'll miss it shot of a poster of a Toad in Dry Dry Desert that says; "Mysterious Sands: Dry Dry Desert"

No Mario kart will be as amazing as double dash (in my opinion), but Mario kart is Mario kart. The only racing game worth playing.

I came a little later, but soon I'm going to buy this game! ^^ I've always loved Mario Kart series, so I'm pretty excited to play this one :D
