IKR, yes it had its flaws but when you think about the amount amazing games we got it’s a great console. Pikmin 3, Nintendo land, splatoon, Mario maker, Mario kart 8, and all the Wii games are compatible. Also, amibo!
When I was little I would rewatch this trailer over and over again but I didn’t have a Wii U so I never got this game. Today I finally got the demo on the Eshop to see what I’ve been missing out on.😊 December 14, 2020 Update: It’s been a few weeks since I bought the full game, and it’s incredible. I’m really glad I finally got to play this amazing game, I absolutely loved it.
It IS FUN! I used to be a person who thought Pikmin was a dumb game, but then I played it and I don’t know why but it is so, much, FUN! Pikmin is my new favorite series now. BUY THE GAME, IT WILL BE WORTH IT! IT IS TRULY AN AMAZING GAME, IT IS THE RIGHT BLEND OF STRATEGY, CHARM, AND FUN! DID I MENTION IT’S FUN?! ITS WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!! Man I cannot wait for Pikmin 4... if they ever release it.
You can use it ask a quick way to direct commanders to other parts of the map for some great multi-tasking. Just be careful not to send them into danger unawares. Utilizing the gamepad map can actually increase your efficiency when controlling multiple commanders.
Pikmin 4! Please, i tried to support the franchise by purchasing physical and digital versions of pikmin 3, also buying digital pikmin 1 and 2 and also i bought pikmin short movies HD and 3D version on wii u and 3DS respectively, bought the Olimar Amiibo, and i bought Hey! Pikmin on 3ds... And since E3 2015 i have been dissapointed each year with no new announcements... Please i know i'm not the only one who supports the pikmin franchise, it sells well. Thank you for pikmin, it is really part of my life 💚.
I forgot to say thanks both Nintendo and Miyamoto for this EPIC game. Played over 4 hours until now, I'm in day 10 of the game having Yellow, Red and Black Pikmen. Love the atmosphere of the game and the environment. I will enjoy each moment of it.

it's a combination both good sir/ma'am. the idea of the game is too go through the game without losing pikmin and still accomplishing your goal as quick as possible.. most creatures are not as simple the creatures they showed in the video. this i can guarantee as a veteran pikmin player.
I'm seeing a lot of different topics come up in the comments, so here's my two cents: 1. More controller options allow for experimentation to find the most comfortable for the player. 2. It not the specs that matter, it's how they are used to get the best game you can. 3. Wii U wouldn't be able to handle more than two video streams, to the tv and to the gamepad. Hence the one gamepad. 4. Different experiences make the game much more personal which many players love.
I bought this game a couple hours ago, and this game is AMAZING. I just beat the armored mawdad boss, and I've put more time into this game than I thought I would. This game is interesting, awesome, and fun.
There is no time limit. In this game you gather food which is made into juice. The amount of juice you have indicates how many days you can continue going on. Most fruit will give you more then one bottle so you'll be fine as long as you don't go a bunch of days without gathering any fruit
No, the gameplay demo rendered from the Wii U was being rendered in 720p. It's OUTPUTTING in 1080p on a 1080p display… but it's rendered in 1280x720. I did see it in front of me live, as I PLAYED it. It wasn't running pixel per pixel.
You can play it with the GamePad by itself, or the WiiU Pro Controller, or the Wii Remote & Nunchuk. If you're not using the GamePad as the controller, you can keep it nearby to use as a map and for a few other functions.
This is what I did with my friend. I shoved the gamepad in his hand, picked up my pro controller, and turned on ZombiU. I explained to him that it's an RTS with zombies on the gamepad, and he has to try to kill the survivor. He asked what I did, and I pointed at my TV and said I'm the survivor. When he got tired of the RTS gameplay, we switched so he could try his FPS skills against my RTS skills. As Reggie said, play the games. That's all you need.
Pikmin 1 and 2 actually had a similar swarm mechanic: tilting the C-stick to steer your whole group of Pikmin. I used that a lot to attack behind enemies.
Definitely, but you might have trouble with it if you're a little too young (my 6-year-old brother seems to have some trouble with it but he loves it just the same)
this game is the best game ever i am a nerd and a sucker for pikmin and this is the best in the series in my opinion i have both pikmin 1 and pikmin 2 and i loved them but when i saw the trailer for the game i passed out........you might be thinking how was the game? BUT I DONT EVEN HAVE THE GAME OR THE CONSOLE im getting the game either in september or october and im getting the console on christmas and i cant wait.

I just got this today woke up at 9am and went to best buy at 10am i was half awake did not get any sleep last night to excited but yeah from now on we are getting games every month as soon on Nintendo E3 video and im planning to get my hands on every Nintendo game and other games for my Wii U anyways.... Thanks Nintendo :)
