It’s so comfortable that sometimes I forget I even have it on and it’s so easy to forget

It's not my kind of thing, but I will say this definitely looks very intuitive. It's got a lot of robust features I am pretty sure many fitness buffs will like.

Nintendo comes up with the most strange stuff man... i love it.

I can't wait. I really want that Fit Meter, so I guess I'll have to go looking for that tomorrow. I'm downloading Wii Fit U as soon as it hits the store so I can continue my over 1950 straight days of Wii Fit use.

Wii fit U seems like a great way to stay fit! With the fact that most people who want this have both a Wii u and Wii balance board, I can see this selling quickly! Although with both Wii sports and Wii fit being downloaded, I might need to get a memory extension.

I live in the UK, but it's alright now. Bought one online. Hope it can come in time, because I'm pretty sure, you have to sync it DURING the use of the trial.

Actually, the digital download launches tomorrow at the eShop. And if you purchase the Fit Meter and the free trail expires, you get Wii Fit U that you have download at no additional cost.

Pokewalker v2 Wii-U Edition...

I didn't realize they wouldn't be selling this at Best Buy. I went there and they didn't have it and they said they don't even have it in their system as something they will be getting. Local GameStop didn't have it either. Looks like just Toys R Us has it in retail and other than that you have to buy it online at a few places.

The trial runs until the 31st January, I highly doubt that ordering online would take so long that you miss a 3 month window of opportunity.

If you wait until December, you can get all of that in a single package on a physical copy, so, you wont need to buy a Hard Drive, unless you've been meaning to buy a hard drive, then you should go that route for sure. Also, the file size shouldn't be more than 4 GB, so, you could use a 8 GB thumb drive if you have one.

Yeah they should make it that they hide certain legendary pokemon on some special places of every city and when you walk there personally you encounter the pokemon on the game, something like that.

I absolutely hate when people say this, but this is a situation where I think an iPhone app would be a genius move. The two new ones have updated motion sensors. Make a little pedometer app that stands alone, but also gently mentions Wii Fit U every now and then. It could have all of the same functionality of the Fit Meter minus the extra gadget. It doesn't compete with the Fit Meter, but offers a handy option. I'd still rather use the Fit Meter when running.

I'm pretty sure more people carry their phone in their pockets than an obscure game accessory. Didn't the new phone google just released come with a step counter/sensor?

Where to buy this? Is the meter online only? Because I can't find it from local stores, and if it's online only, it might take too long to get here, before the trial is over.

Am I the only person actually kinda excited for this? I think that this is wonderful of Nintendo to offer us the game for only $19.99. That was the same price as the disk for Wii Fit+, now it's the price for the Fit Meter. Same idea, more technology. =)

With Wii Fit U, I hope they make it less clunky to navigate so you don't have excessive downtime between exercises.
