Camped up there myself and the night views over the Fylde plains are amazing, thanks for sharing, also thanks for making a point about leaving no trace
Langden Castle - I've been up there a few times. Those arched jamb stones in the building seem very out of place for such a remote spot. Apparently it's on the old original track way from the Ribble Valley to Lancaster and some have speculated that Langdon Castle fits the "dark foreboding place" mentioned in Arthurian legend for the location for the Green Chapel where Gawain fought the Green Knight.
