The bobcat is great just the main pole is so tight, you feel like you are going to brake it, for me great tent layout.

Frying pan and alcohol stove is my setup. I have a small contained fire in a stove. Nice to go with a friend but it's great going solo too

How do bloke? Have a look at the American 'Townsends' channel - they do a lot of 1700's style historic cooking. They did one on cooking a small joint of beef over a flame. From memory they used a metal heat reflector to even up the cooking and they spooned a marinade over it to stop it from drying out 😎👍

FYI when cooking that way try putting a hat on it. Take some foil wrap it around the top and pinch it on top and flare out the bottom of it just so the heat bounces back onto the meat. In Joy mate

I wasn't sure that steak would cook to be honest but it look really good in the end. How long did it take to cook? Poor old Vegan Outdoors having to watch it cook. Lol. He's a lovely guy so I know he's ok with it.

I kept looking for the Cavewoman to rush out of the woods to grab that steak Dan. Looked a good one mate but for me I'd prefer it more rare so when you cut it bleeds and bellows. Those 902 tarps are incredible that your friend was using. Grest adventure thanks for uploading. Bushyboy Oz.
