Love mine. Got it Christmas last year on a Black Friday deal direct from terra nova. First time used was February. Woke up with a heavy frost. A few further wild camps, and overnight stays. Defo 1 man. Easy to pitch, get away with only using 4 pegs. You can definitely see & feel the quality difference to cheaper tents. I recon it could cope as a 4 season. I keep poles & pegs separate from tent to pack even smaller. Also keep genuine footprint attached and it still fits in bag easily. Although I’m tempted to get a decent dry bag for when I pack up when it’s wet. Recommend a wipe down with a small microfibre towel before removing poles if it is wet. Gave it a vigorous shake last time out when it was wet. I got soaked 😂😂
Nice one mate, yeah definitely really easy to pitch and it looks quality for the price , I'm hoping to get out in mine again soon, thanks for watching and the comment mate , all the best 👍
Great review. Got one of these coming next week to take out in a couple of weeks. Great to know that the inner comes pre-attached so I can set it up right away.
Only done a couple of camps in the Helm 1 and still real happy with too. I love the ease of set up and (if raining) keeping the inner tent dry and this looks just as good. I can see why it was voted the best value tent and when you consider the price of some of the high end tents, for me this is still a bargain. Cheers Alan
Nice one Alan mate, yeah cracking little tents , so easy to put up and really good value , hope you an your family have a nice Easter, all the best 👍 🏕
Great tent review Gaz. Definitely one of the best two man tents on the market for the price. Enjoy it mate its perfect for 1 person though. Plenty of room for all your kit. Hope you are well mate. Atvb Andy 🌲🌲🌲🌲⛺🌲🌲🌲🌲👍
Great video!, I just bought the Helm 2 compact, not been out in it yet, I can’t wait to use it as I’ve been using a Vango soul 200 tent that cost £40 in 2016 was o.k but I couldn’t sit up in it and it had front entrance and fibreglass poles which broke once, so the Helm 2 will be a big upgrade for me
@@GazianoOutdoorsI’m going wild camping tomorrow, will be the first time I’ve used it, can’t wait, I will be on the SW coast path in N.Devon, 50 meters from the sea, will let you know how it went when I return, already excited!, now I need to sort out all my gear
I've used mine twice so far and it's done me well. It is an easy pitcher and better quality than the cloud peak 2 which is close in design and cost. The pockets are good but due to the hang on them I kept moving my head into it so will add some bungee to tighten up a bit. Vestibules fine for low down cooking too
Alright mate , not bad here , hope you're well mate, what tent have you ordered ? You planning a wild camp or camp site? 🏕 hopefully going to be getting out more myself soon, all the best mate 👍
@@GazianoOutdoors This one was only a tenner !! ..Bingo !! lol ..2006 Sundown Marlboro ! ..7' by 7' .. used twice !! ..fangyouverymuch Miss Moneypenny !! lol
🤣🏕👍, yeah going to trim down my kit a bit , I've got other tents I've not tried yet , not been getting out lately but hopefully will soon , nice one Lee mate 👍
