Below is my posted answer to someone's question from an earlier video:
I played the violin from when I was 7~20 years old. Due to a left hand injury, I completely stopped playing for 23 years(sold my violin too.) In 2010; after being inspired by listening to Hilary Hahn's Sibelius on RU-vid, I borrowed a violin, started playing 30 min. every day just for fun (I pretty much forgot how to play; bow shook quite badly; lost my perfect pitch, getting back slowly, but steadily for the last 10 years... I'm much older now. Sigh! but at the same time... I feel very Blessed. Have a safe and pleasant day! :-) #music #fast #violin #beautiful

Hello, I have been able to see that you have been in music classes from 7 to 20 years old. A lot of mastery with the violin playing a great arc of artists such as Paganini, Bach and surely others of the same genre. It is gratifying to see music channels on RU-vid and as not also in a previous one to interpret his mother Chopin with great mastery in the Piano. I love a new friend a true delight.

@@ViolinHobby Ah yes, the C#? It reminded me of the third mov. of Brandenburg 3 somehow, some similar motifs maybe. That being said, I bet those parts are interesting to listen to on their own or in solo arrangement and it's great you did this arrangement especially as Bach was known to do that sort of thing.

Violin Hobby i was so impressed by your playing and arrangement! In fact, the student who played the Grieg concerto on our channel, used that prelude and fugue in C# major for his college auditions!!! (Ended up at Northwestern 😊)

Yeah, I agree I don't think that there could be many violin arrangements for the WTC prelude & fugues. Nice sir, you arranged this on your own? Impressive. It must have taken a lot of effort, to arrange a single piece.

Hello, I dont know it is okay to ask or not please excuse for advance sorry if it bothered you... since I deeply impressed your skillfull violin playing, there is some more curiousity when you young age as you said 7-20years old, had worked on violin as hooby as well??? or did you aim to professinal violinist?? and after you took violin again have you self-taught violin or taken lesson?? Hello my friend, Thank you so much for caring about my video enough to ask me these questions. After I picked up the violin again in 2010 I just played by myself. It was great that RU-vid has many great violinist and they would give tips and I would pick up whatever I could. As far as before I injure myself I was playing to become a professional until I quit completely. Thank you so much my friend for asking these great questions👍🙏🙏😀😀
