I knew that wild dogs kill their prey with an 80% success rate, and that they devour it very quickly. I had no idea just how quick that actually was! Pretty much killed as it's being torn apart in mere seconds. But that's also how their meal doesn't get stolen from them.

shoutout to our ancestors for getting us out of the food chain. would not want to get torn to pieces by these animals. sad for the prey animals but it's life..

They're just eating food. Ruthlessness has nothing to do with it. They're aware of and intending to cause as much harm to their food as gazelles do to their food. As a matter of fact, both gazelles and wild dogs eat their food in identical manners.
