Nice video, easy to watch and pleasant great demo. Was out looking for these little turkeys the last few days. I found many imposters. Some looked great! But the underside was orange. Some were too grey. But i found one group i highly suspect was the ellucive little turkey tail! White to opake underside with loads of tiny ports o. The underside. Now i need to study its processing to better understand how to use it besides tea.

I used to live in Ontario; Ottawa at one point then Muskoka for 28 years. Now I'm in BC on the coast. I would swear that your cabin is somewhere in eastern Ontario. I know you shouldn't divulge given the weirdness on the web. All the best...Bruce

Just a tip - there are two look alikes which are easily distinguished apart by looking on the bottom. If the bottom is flat (may be curvy just without pores) its false turkey tail. If you find a mushroom that looks similar to turkey tail and has gills its a gilled poly pore which i think are not edible. On the bottom of turkey tail there are a bunch of pores on the bottom.
