Omg! Amazing video with the pony! My eyes teared up when the pony was licking Malcolm's beard JUST how he had been dreaming of! His having shown what he loved about the horse that loves his beard the same day, an hour later, a wish came true! I am sooo happy for that sweet couple and for the pony! Steve, you ARE amazing!!! And, that you didn't charge them made this video even more special. He was a dangerous pony and still no fee! Take care and stay safe. Jennifer San Francisco Bay area USA
A very heartwarming video! Your understanding of people and horses is a true gift! Thank you so much for doing this and not even charging this lovely couple. I truly am so impressed every time! A big hello from Idaho, USA!
So lovely seeing all those "real" people who struggle for their animals, regardless if it's a fancy horse or a hairy yearling pony. You're a hero Steve.
How touching to see this dear creature tasting the lick and beginning to trust the human holding it. How lucky for him he had Steve to teach him trust, and that his owners are such loving people who will never hurt him.
So emotional to watch. A union of skilled , kind, knowledgeable horsemanship and a meeting of minds thru compassion and understanding and respect. Loved it . 😊
I love that you helped those people and didn't charge them anything. My heart is warmed by your kindness. I cried when the horse licked his beard. Thank you
Well, may God bless you both just as you blessed Malcom and Lorraine. Love your compassion. May God keep you. And please include us in your journey as you travel and stop for meals throughout the countryside. Blessings my friends!❤
You are amazing, those horses. ❤you detected what was going on. And treated the owners with respect. I can see on the videos that people’s love you very much , you work hard with your patients and you have results only after one or two hour’s of working on an on. Good for you guys and I wish you an other 40 year’s together. My husband decided to walk away ,so alone all the time ,the way you’re handle your life, making me think , Love is steal there and makes me feel good again. Thanks and God bless you two😢😅😂😂😂❤❤❤ps. Sorry my English is not very good ,hope you understand me!❤❤❤😍🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I had to wipe my eyes watching this one. Just the absolute compassion flowing out Steve and Tanya for the lovely couple and their stuck so young pony. The tears just kept welling up. It really was such a dangerous situation and yet no shaming them, just compassion and humor and teaching and encouragement and to do it with no thought of payment. And a long drive. I needed to see compassionate, caring, gentle heroes. And here they are. It's been a very rough year. I know I'm not alone in that. But thank you for posting this for free; I promise when I can I'll buy you a coffee.
you guys warm my heart , i am learning so much and not just about speaking with my pony but also just how special people are . These guys were just beautiful .
Oh my gosh, I teared up when the pony loved on Malcolm towards the end of the video and seeing Malcolm's emotional reaction...so amazing! Bravo Steve!!!
What I enjoy so much about Steve's work with the horses is his joy and encouragement when the horse responds to him positively. It is not unlike a parent saying "see, you can do it!"
Love how the people and horses are more important than money love love you guys . Steve I’m a rescuer of people and animals I can’t tell you how much your videos make me feel happier on the bad days of rescuing. I lost my husband so I enjoy listening to you and Tonya get along. So cute together nice to see
Oh I love this lil guy! You can tell he wasn't mean, just scared and unsure. Probably got upset here and there being stuck in one place so long. Glad he has a new lease on life!
I have watched so many of your vids but this little Highland colt grabbed my heart! I hope we will be able to see future updates. Thanks for caring so much for horses and thanks, so much, for all the good you do; one horse at a time. 🌸
I’ve watched loads of your videos, but that one took the biscuit, how lovely for that couple and the pony to get your expertise to have that bit of confidence to push through, heartwarming xxxx
I’m very allergic to horses but I find such enjoyment from watching your videos. They are such so much better for me to relax and watch than all the political crap that is going on in the USA.
And THIS (this particular video) is why I became a Member to your lovely channel!! I know that by donating each month through a subscription will benefit the many horses and their owners in need of your guidance! Thank you for allowing me to be a little part of your journey to change the approach of horse training around the world! Tanya and Steve, you are amazing! Lots of love from the US - Angela ❤
The changes Steve was able to bring about in this lovely pony were remarkable, especially since he achieved them in a short time. Honestly, horses just want to feel safe and able to trust those who handle them. These people just love their horses and it is so gratifying to see how the horses respond to them. Highland ponies are just the best!
I've watched a number of your videos and it never ceases to amaze me how quickly effective you are in convincing a horse that you're no danger to it. In just minutes you have him turning to you with both eyes, then stepping towards you and soon he's following you around the stall.
Again a great job well done. Poor little fella,he's a lovely little fella. You do so much to help people this was lovely and the pony licking Malcoms beard was so cute. Congratulations Tanya and Steve.
Tanya is so sweet. I love it when she praises the horse so softly behind the camera. You can tell she just adores the horses and Steve's way with them.
Bless the owner for caring about his pony enough to have you come in and help him. It was so heartwarming watching this sweet little pony learning to trust. Equally as touching to observe how you dealt so sensitively with the feelings and needs of the owners. Believe it or not, I watch your videos to relax. My nervous system immediately relaxes when I observe anyone who is relaxed and competent in their line of work. Watching you work with these poor, troubled souls and watching the outcome is very comforting for me. I'm in the mental health field. My goal, like yours, is to form a connection, effect change and help turn things around.
Oh my, what a heartwarming video. I dabbled in riding when I was a teen (50 odd years ago now - Yikes). I now know I didn't know anything! I'm addicted to watching you gently guide these horses into a calmer, more understood life. Thank you for sharing with the world.
As a horse person myself I absolutely love your videos and specifically this one it’s so heartwarming. I got emotional towards the end of the video. It makes me so happy in my soul ❤❤❤ Steve and Tania you are gorgeous people inside and out.
First of all, I'm 66, it just gets better. My husband (of 47yrs) was quite interested in seeing this video, he's 72, a veterinarian, still working :). What you did with that youngster was simply marvelous. It choked me up, he got a new lease on life, and from this day on he has found a happiness that had disappeared from his world! It was SO important a moment to see! I've loved horses all my life, but there are so many things I didn't understand until watching your videos. You, and your wife, and helpers are doing a much greater service than you know! I am enjoying every moment of it :). Oh, and that lunch you had looked DIVINE...
Oh that was just beautiful. God Bless those wonderful horse owners, Malcolm was absolutely chuffed there at the end, I had tears. Steve you worked wonders there my friend, you always do, but I agree that was a special one. God Bless you both also Steve and Tanya, what gorgeous souls you have 🙏 I thoroughly enjoyed that ❤ .....and that feast looked amazing!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Steve and Tanya I've loved horses my whole life but have never had the privilege of owning my own. I watch your videos all the time and have learned so much. I appreciate the time and effort it takes to make your videos and also the voice overs as you patiently explain to both horse people and non horse people exactly what the horse has done, why it's not acceptable or shouldn't be accepted and how to correct the behavior. Hence, the long videos. For those who don't like the long videos, you have graciously provided many shorter ones for their viewing pleasure. So rest assured, you are doing a wonderful education work that is being viewed and appreciated all over the globe! Even here in South Western Ontario Canada.😊
You should have so many more subscribers IMO. It was a real act of kindness to help these folks free of charge. And yes I fell hook line and sinker for the fools joke. HA! I have not owned horses for over 20 years but I still enjoy your videos. Almost all of your methods of training work on children too. Even temper, never anger, always the same response to bad behavior, build trust and connection... I am sure I am not the only one to notice this. I just wanted to comment since I never do, and comments really help the algo show your videos to other people, and you deserve to have a very large following.
What beautiful hearted people you are. A pensioner. You are both goodness through and through. Another fantabulous video. Thank you. Bought tears to my eyes when he licked Malcolm,s beard. Awesome. Food yum yum, mouth watering. Yes you changed the pony and the couples lives. I am so happy for them all. You guys are awesome.
Love seeing how you kindly guide both horse and human toward positive results. World needs more of this…cheers from across the pond in Long Island, New York.
Aww I loved this video, I watch every single video of yours but little Theo the Highland colt proper grabbed my heart hes so beautiful, I really hope Malcolm and Theo have a very happy and free future ,what you have done getting that little colt out of that stable and to graze and stretch his legs and grow is heartwarming. Thank you Steve and Tanya for everything you both do we love ya both ❤
Wonderful to see such a sad situation for all totally turned around to a beautiful outcome for all. In such a short space of time too. Well done Steve.
The difference in this Highland's eye in the beginning & end is remarkable. The relief in both him & his owners is palpable. There is nothing of more worth in this world than to feel understood, no? You give folks the bridge to do just that, Steve (& Tanya.) Thanks for letting us tag along!
God love and bless you both It's so true, the more you give, the more you get.Thats God's way to abundance And you made a couple of Pensioners so happy❤❤❤
I am so touched by your generosity, Steve and Tanya. I normally comment on the changes made in the horse, but this video was different for me. The last picture of Steve and Martin sharing a handshake has me in tears. This video shows what an incredible horseman you are and the change in the pony was wonderful. But, it also shows how kind you are to people in need of your help. You don't make money the greatest qualifier of who that will be. God bless you.
It’s amazing how much progress was made here! Theo seems to feel safer with a better idea of what is expected of him and he didn’t get hurt. They seem like lovely people that will take good care of him.
Steve what you did for this man and that sweet little horse! I was teary eyed with the end results🥰 that couple can now enjoy that little horse and that little horse will enjoy being apart of their herd. Well done as always👍
What a great video! That little pony was just looking for his leader. A good horseman always makes it look easy, but those of us who have struggled with problem horses, know there is indeed a lot of skill involved! Your videos have helped me a lot, and I feel there is hope for me to form a better understanding and relationship with my own horses. (They send their thanks, and so do I! 😊)
You got me with the April Fool Prank! What a sweet video! The pony licking Malcom's beard was priceless! Thank you for all you do for horses and those who love them! Bless you guys.
what a happy outcome for that sweet little pony. really hope they go one and train him up because I think he would make a lovely riding pony. Well done, your patience and knowledge are inspiring.
Have to admit the eyes welled up, what a beautiful couple, they’d tried so hard. You’ve made their lives so happy. Initially that horse scared me, in fact I’m still not 100% confident. Spot on Tanya, again.
my cheeks are hurting from smiling.......Steve and Tania, kudos to you both for being so kind in helping this beautiful couple and their young colt in what could have escalated into a VERY dangerous situation. Steve you make this look so easy with your 'Savvy' but let it be said that this is NO easy task for the inexperienced. Even those with experience can come across a stumbling block like this situation, here is where your videos and teachings are PRICELESS!🤠
My 8 month old colt is super rambunctious and he is out at pasture with his mom and sister…I can’t imagine how he would be if he was locked in a stall for several months. Thank you for helping this baby and his owners. Hopefully he will have a better quality of life now.❤️
II have watched many of your videos and I can say with all honesty when that horse licked Malcolm’s face and he got the chills I cried because I was so happy for him. Bless you Steve and Tanya for helping these wonderful people and of course the horse. Love from Newfoundland Canada 🇨🇦
What lovely people and such a nice little highland ready now for the rest of his life ,thanks to you both for the help that you gave them all.Good informative video, i love these sort of videos, just that little bit of help for folk over a bump in the road of training, you both are amazing and yes you do get kindness back from all sorts of avenues when you help people who are struggling.Keep up the good work, stay safe.
Yes, I keep thinking about what a happy pony Theo will be. Being out of his stall every day to " horse around ' will make such a difference in his life. A very pretty pony as well, I love Theo's markings.
I so love watching you help some of the most amazing people with their horses and beautiful ponies. You do such a great job Steve. I also like coming along with you and Tanya on your trips seeing your wonderful country and visiting all the restaurant stops you make on your journeys too. Thank you so much for sharing. 🥰
What amazing ancient buildings y’all have over there! I absolutely LOVE seeing these things. As well as the marvelous things you do for the horses and their owners! 🥰🥰👍🙏
I'm always amazed (and I live here) how old buildings invariably sit in the landscape. Difficult to replicate in modern times, I suppose the connection and personal touch makes the difference.
What a great job it warms my heart to see how kind and thoughtful you and Tanya are ...such a giving caring couple...you have made the family whole..❤❤
I watch your videos a lot and find them all so helpful and enjoyable. This particular video was just perfect - so thrilled for Malcolm and his Highland Pony
A wonderful feel good video as always. It's absolutely heart-warming to see how happy you have made Malcom, Lorraine and of course the little Highland pony. Bravo, Steve and Tania.

Beautiful Video ,thank U ,just an Amazing Couple for yr Warmth ,Dedication to people & our Animals ? God bless U both 🙏 ❤️ ☘️🇦🇺🙏
You two are so stinkin' sweet, and I think this was the sweetest to date (maybe a toss up with the little girl and her Mom :) It doesn't matter to you if its someone's expensive eventing horse, or a little mountain pony you treat all of the them with the same respect and their people with care. I love this -- you and Tanya totally earned your carvery :)
That was so lovely, it did actually bring tears to my eyes, such sweet people & pony. It's so kind of you both to help out like that, bless you 🙏 ☯️ 🌹 🙌 I'd like to add that it's so good to hear responsible horse ownership too about NOT breeding from the Arab stallion because he has Sweetitch! It's a terrible condition and I wholeheartedly agree with the owner, having cared for one for many years. 👏👏👏
I noticed that this beautiful animal is jumpy and flinches easily at minor sounds or activity. I’m thinking it may have suffered some rough handling in the past. And the reason for hiding in the corner. Hopefully in time he will heal, Steve did a great job 👍
Dear Steve and Tanya, thanks for posting this I always learn so much and can appreciate the horses perspective much better. You saved him. Pretty lineback Dun on his way to a good life!
What a heart warming video such lovely genuine people ❤️ well done Steve and Tanya yet again for what you do for people to better the pony and owners happiness 😊
