We partnered with Visit Guernsey and Guernsey Swim Adventures to explore the magical swim spots of this mighty Channel Island. We had heard a lot about the stegosaurus like rock pillars of the Pea Stacks and we're incredibly excited to get the chance to swim through them. As we set out on the boat the weather turned and the swell picked up. Waves lashed the rocks and we searched for a way to get through. Find out how we got on...

WoW… this really puts the “wild” in “Wild Swimming”. What a rush!! Greetings from the northern wilderness of the PNW (🇨🇦). Not many swims left before freeze-up here 🌎💦Ⓜ️ary🏊‍♀️

Glad you enjoyed it :) In the ice too thick to hack through with an axe?

@@TheWildSwimmingBrothers If one had great stamina and perseverance, one could possibly chop the ice with an axe. Folks who go ice-fishing use an ice-fishing auger or a chain saw to make holes for ice fishing. In mid-winter one can drive a car on the lakes (if there is public access). I’m 58 and kinda fit for my age, but I worry that I would not be able to get back out of a ice hole, so I don’t go swimming once freeze-up hits. Last Spring I busted the ice on April 16 for my first official swim of 2021. Thanks for the vids, I always enjoy watching your aqua-adventures. 🌎💦Ⓜ️ary🏊‍♀️

Here in the north of the PNW (🇨🇦) the water temperature in the local lakes is around 7c… and dropping. 🌎💦Ⓜ️ary🏊‍♀️
