She is dealing the burn card early. She dealt all cards and the burn card straight away instead of waiting until just before the flop. After she deals the flop she immediately burn the next card that's before the turn. Everything is in order but its's bad practice and confusing. The players then wonder why she hasn't burn a card before the flop, it's because she did it after dealing out the hand cards.

@@Simon-sf7ng Pulling off the burn card before the prior street is complete defeats the entire purpose of the burn, hiding the next card from view. If that's what she's doing, she doesn't understand her job at a minimal level.

She's burning early. Which is not to say she isn't horrible.

The entire point of the burn card is so that you cannot see the top of the next card before you take action. She's horrible.

There was a discussion about whether the second card was burned AFTER the flop, EINSTEIN. You don't think the people standing and sitting 3 feet away are smart enough to see that?

What you see on film is the flop being spread, not the flop coming off the deck.

Definitely got screwed because the 9 wouldnt of came off--you see her realize she screwed up , thats why she stopped after she flipped the cards

The window card is the top card off the deck. It would have been the middle card on the flop.

Yeah it's hard to tell with the editing and narrow camera angle but if she did double burn PF, that nine wouldve been the next burn if done correctly. I would not be happy if I were him.

@@Simon-sf7ng maybe -- before dealer spreads the flop, there are 2 burn cards -- camera doesn't show in what order she put those 5 cards down (2 burns + 3 flop) -- to be honest, if I was in this situation, I'd call for all cameras to be reviewed -- crazy for this to happen at a WSOP Final Table

@@jayurenos I think it was just very confusing what she did since the camera flashes to her mangling the flop and there's already 2 burn cards out there. Typically the turn burn card would not come until before the turn and she must have like pre-burned when she dealt the flop - I don't blame him for wanting to check and once it was confirmed he didn't really argue. It's for $600k after all

Dealers are human give them a break. I mean how many players do you see make mistakes on every table that mess up play🤨

i wasnt there, but its possible to burn and then deal 4 cards with the last card being the second burn. This is really not supposed to happen at the WSOP, let alone the final table. She probably started doing this in a small card room somewhere and got away with it. Same thing as dealer is supposed to cut with one hand, not two. There are reasons for the protocol, to prevent dealers from being able to flash cards or manipulate the deck. Even if that isnt the case, that is one bizarre move. What is the rush to burn the card innocently? I hope she got pulled aside by a floor man who card more about this, because I wouldnt even play in a game where someone was burning the next card before the betting action.

It's entirely possible that she pre-burned before spreading the flop, taking 3 off face down and then taking off the burn.

There are dealers like this in card rooms all over the USA, they don't pay attention to what they themselves are doing. If she does it like this every time and thereby gets the card order correct every time, that's probably better than doing it somewhat more randomly. Obv. you never want cards burned before action is complete.

Also be aware that if she incorrectly takes 4 off, then correct placement of the 4th is in the burn.

It's possibly a stretch that this dealer would know which of the 4 is the burn, ha. I think that people have much higher expectations of casino quality at a "televised" final table.

@@vrvretro If she does it a bit, she may have learned how to correct it, after the fact. I see dealers do this on the daily, they pull off 4, and it's incorrect to put one of them back.
