Sunday morning, the National Weather Service put out an alert for high surf on Bay Area beaches, warning people to stay away. So, of course, people flocked to the area to see what was happening. John Ramos reports. (1-10-21)
I grew up in the ocean. Learned to swim in the ocean. Did every sport I could in water. THE OCEAN IS TERRIFYING if you truly understand the power of nature and how little in every way we humans are....
Unless you have fins and feed off other sea life, you didn't grow up "in the ocean"! You might have grown up using the ocean for sport but you didn't grow up in it.
People die EVERY YEAR from this type of stupidity.The first thing our parents taught us at the beach as NorCal kids was NEVER turn your back on the ocean.
