That is a fantastic accumulation of western scenery...It would be perfect for a Savage West RPG campaign from Savage Worlds...great attention to detail...thanks for posting up this vid...it went into my favorites...Jim.
I know how you feel .... like you, watching a wild west building 'come to life' is amazing ... its a pain the arse to do the cladding, but once its done and you can start adding extra details, its such a good feeling.
- all the barrels, crates, sacks etc are from the Cavern Accessories Mold ... the guns were from our bits box from various model kits we've collected over the years
that would go well with an HO scale bachmann locomotive and tender, combine and passenger car configuration which could go by it in a western train layout!
Thanks for checking it out ... I'll add it to the list (probably already on there!), really need to get back into tutorials, we'll see though - keep your eyes open!
@Alismuffin - yeah, I used sawdust - i have a video up showing how I make it. and the cliffs are made from regular expanded polystyrene (the white stuff) covered in a plaster sealant
didnt realize the quality you guys turn out.I must watch more of your stuff.Where did you get hold of the signs mate? There the icing on the cake? 10/10 Who needs BTP- There way to big for there boots and have become completly boring to watch.
Dude, will we ever see a Wild West battle report?! ...What rules did you use for the previous game anyway?! I've just started looking in to 'Blackwater Gulch'. Thanks man!
Sound thanks mate, I'm just being lazy looking for a quicker way to do them cos I've made the saloon and was ready to kill myself after gluing all the balsa strips on the frontage! I do love this stuff though, it's a labour of love!
The Hirst arts mold with the open end barrels and boxes is impossible to get out or so I thought. You seem to have got a few out without breaking them. :(
@wolt96 - I could .. yes. Will I ... perhaps. These types of buildings have a fairly basic construction technique, it wouldn't be hard to whip something up
Wow ... this is another old video. Thanks for watching! I know spend most of my time working with MDF at Knights of Dice so I don't get much of a chance to scratch build stuff these days, but I do miss it!!
@figureshobby2010 - I'd rather a different company worked with Rockstar ... I wouldnt want to pay the price GW would ask for their figures ;) So many awesome companies produce wild west figures, though I dont know if RDR is purely wild west - never played it.
