I feel like Qimir is the apprentice to a master but, i don't believe he could have just got that armour out of nowhere cuz we didnt see him holding much luggage when they were going through the forest.
Yeah it is abit tricky. I mean he had an extra container with him when they first arrived, but I agree it would have been tough to retrieve the outfit so quickly. If he is the masked Sith, I hope they reveal how he was able to get suited up. ofc, he knew the way to Kelnacca while Mae likely ran abit aimlessly at first. So maybe that's how it worked?
Yea, there's no way he could've got it on so quickly. Im also confused with the whole wookie thing, it shows the wookie jedi fighting in one of the trailers so it's probably a deceptive trailer.

@@Darkstar-se6wc I thought the same thing at first myself, but if you watch the episode closely, Mae and Qimir are traveling a few days on the planet. We see them experience nightfall a few times. So if the Jedi had their meeting and then traveled straight to the planet, they could have caught up, it seems.
Agreed...yeah, the double Sith theory is looking pretty strong right now, since Qimir is looking for sure like the masked Sith. Love that they seem to close down one mystery while revealing another. As you said, anyone is on the table to be the master of Qimir at this point.
Agreed on double Sith. I’d hope that they maintain whomever should be the Master now based on timing (Pleagus or whomever) and that Darth Smiley be a pre-Palpatine apprentice). But it could also be that Smiley is merely an Acolyte and that this series is really about him, but that would both be crazy and against the showrunner’s idiom. 😂

9:00 Man, imagine Sol. If you remember Sol's first introduction in the show teaching the class of younglings, he instructed "don't let your eyes deceive you." If this theory is true, that line would be a foreshadowing twist if there ever was one. Knowing this Korean actor's acting chops, if anyone among the cast, he could definitely pull it off. Food for thought. Creator Leslye Headland said this show is liken to Kill Bill. If you recall, the four members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad who went after Beatrix Kiddo? Brother Budd, O-Ren Ishii, Vernita Green, and eye patch Elle. What if Indara, Sol, Kelnacca, and Torbin were the equivalent covert hit team under Vernestra (who is like Bill). These four Jedis stationed at Brendok were like a contracted Seal Team Six aimed to eliminate outer rim threats that the Jedi High Council wouldn't officially get their hands dirty with. So our subjective protagonists aren't operating morally in the books.

I think this Sith Lord is Qimir but he’s merely an apprentice and the *REAL* Sith Master, is Darth Tenebrous. PS: Vernestra is kinda sus. She definitely seen some 💩 before this show happened lol
Yeah, I'm really leaning towards Qimir being under the mask (i.e. the apprentice) and someone else being the master. Tenebrous would be a great reveal. And what if Sol is actually Tenebrous. Whoa!

I agree with this theory. I'd like to think that these new SW writers will stick to an actual credible storyline, and it would make perfect sense in the chronology that Darth Tenebrous is the Sith Master. However, I have a feeling that Sol isn't this innocent wise Jedi man he is made out to be. He seems way too invested in all this to be innocent.
Yeah, he looked pretty sus when he was lurking behind that tree. And his "I'll explain it all when we get back to the ship" line really made me suspicious!
I'm also in the Qimir camp. I know it sounds to easy, but I truly cannot see any other option, at least for Mae's Master. As for Mae's Master's Master, that's a trickier one. We don't even know if they exist at all, but if they do, then I don't think it would be an easy pick. I could see Indara or Mother Aniseya, for the shock value, but they would need to give us a very good explanation (especially in Indara's case: we literally saw her die in front of our eyes, and I'm sure the Jedi Order got to at least see her body, to confirm that she was really dead). But it could just as well be a completely new character (or an old character from other SW media that is coming back for a cameo). I don't know, this mystery is getting deeper each episode!
Well said...yeah, I'm thinking Qimir has to be the masked Sith, but the master's master...well, now that is a very interesting question. I like that they have basically told us who the masked Sith is, but at the same time have created a new mystery regarding whether that Sith has a higher master.
I think we are seeing this wrong. I think Qmir is the acolyte and he’s using Mae to kill Jedi without a weapon for “his” master. Then the twins will team up and take him down. I don’t want the thing under the mask to be anyone other than a Sith Lord bc of his strong they already are.

Yep, I truly hope that's what we find out. Or, perhaps Plaguies or Tenebrous is controlling the master. In other words, they are controlling whoever is controlling Qimir. In that case, Qimir will be killed off in the process. And perhaps Qimir isn't even an apprentice but is an Acolyte as well. So many ways things could go from here. Love it!
Yeah, I'm pretty convinced it's Qimir under the mask and that the next big question is who is his Master. We get one answer and it spawns another...love this show!
All roads lead to Abeloth. Qimir is a dark side follower of Abeloth hence the Darth Teeth mask. The coven of witches get their power from her as well. This will tie into Filoni’s Ahsoka season 2 and the movie. Baylan is also being called by Abeloth. Just a theory.
Oh wow...now that's a cool theory. Yeah, I would love it if the series ties back into some of the larger Star Wars lore for this era and Abeloth would be a very cool way to bring things together!

The sith in ep4 is THE ACOLYTE. Mae is just an asset for the Acolyte and the real sith master is in the background still. Kamir is a red herring. The real sith master is still in the background and wont reveal themselves so carelessly. The sith master is Koril the spikey headed witch who has a grudge against the jedi who took one of her babies that she carried. Koril also killed the other witches because they let them take her kids away.

Thank you for the video and the presentation of the various fan theories about The Acolyte. There are undoubtedly one or two things to criticise about the series, but it has caught my full attention and interest because there are many puzzles and mysteries, because it doesn't tell you everything because of various changes of perspective and time jumps, important actions are not (yet) shown and you have to pay meticulous attention to every detail. I love details and I love puzzles, so I will watch the series to the end. But now to my own Sith theories... Personally, I'm very, very sure that both Mother Koril and Qimir are involved in the dark conspiracy. However, it is unclear in what role and at what point in time. 1) Koril is the most aggressive of the witches, she is ambitious, impatient, envious and driven by fear of loss. She is particularly furious about the arrival of the Jedi and is worried about secrets that need to be protected from them. She is ready to kill the Jedi without hesitation. Koril is the person who has most clearly fallen to or been consumed by the dark side of the Force in the whole series so far. You almost get the impression that her green-brown eyes need just a little more to turn yellow-orange. She has a very striking appearance and she is the only witch whose body is not visible when the dead bodies are shown. Coincidence? She also makes several suspicious statements and actions. She also seems to be responsible for the reactor. Another important ability of the witches seems to be the force push, which they practise constantly. Koril could obviously use it to "blow away" the entire Jedi group, like foliage. And witches like to levitate too, don't they? ;-) But who could Koril be in the series or in the Star Wars canon? She could be the person under the mask (her little horns would easily fit there, if they haven't already broken off anyway), she could be the Sith Master in the background or she could be a former apprentice of a Sith Master. Leaving out the Legends information, there really isn't much canon about Darth Tenebrous. Except that he existed and that he was the master of Darth Plagueis. We know nothing about his gender, species, race, age, civilian profession and civilian name from canon. Mother Koril could either be Darth Tenebrous or a former Sith apprentice of Tenebrous. However, I categorically rule out the possibility that she is Darth Plagueis. We know more about Plagueis in canon: he was male, he was the apprentice of Darth Tenebrous and the master of Darth Sidious, he died in 32 BBY, he was concerned with manipulating midichlorians, creating life, achieving immortality and implementing the "grand plan". Legends information that he was Muun and had an influential profession (banker) I think is plausible and at least semi-canonical. Mother Koril is female and a Zabrak and therefore not Plagueis. 2) Qimir's slacker-like, stoned, clumsy, erratic, undisciplined, sloppy, hedonistic and somehow charming manner is obviously a good distraction. He repeatedly reveals himself to Mae and also to the Jedi as a dodgy, duplicitous and manipulative psychopath who probably didn't hesitate to murder the apothecary on Olega himself in cold blood. He also seems to know everything about Kelnacca, his hiding place, Mae and the witches' background and the Jedi, and he quotes the Sith code. When Mae lures him into a trap, deserts and threatens to reveal secrets to the Jedi, he becomes quite unrelaxed. He's on the scene, he knows where Kelnacca lives, he could get there before Mae and assassinate him. So he could easily be the masked darklord who challenges the Jedi. But who could Qimir be in the series or in the Star Wars canon? If he really is the Masked Darksider and Mae's Master, I'm pretty sure he's a Sith Apprentice and not a Sith Master. Unfortunately, the canon doesn't give much information. Plagueis doesn't fit in terms of age and other characteristics. He certainly wasn't a hedonistic slacker in civilian life. But the legends provide a few very valuable clues: Darth Tenebrous had another apprentice: Darth Venamis. He mastered the difficult-to-learn skill of levitation. The name Venamis sounds like "Venomous", which fits perfectly with a poisoner like Qimir. His mask with its "teeth" and wide mouth also resembles the head of a venomous reptile or amphibian. The series may have taken up some aspects of Darth Venamis in order to re-contextualise them in the canon. There is currently no canon about his age, species, gender or profession. Qimir aka Darth Venamis could well die at the end/climax of the series and make way for a new Sith apprentice, the young Darth Plagueis. I would practically rule out the others mentioned from my point of view. Suspects like Venestra and Indara, as well as the unsuspected Ki-Adi-Mundi, serve to show the weaknesses of the Jedi that ultimately led to their downfall: arrogance, ignorance, corruptness, incompetence, inflexibility, religious zealotry, authoritarianism and claims to absoluteness. This is contrasted by the ethical, idealistic Jedi Sol as a counterpart and good guy. As far as Sith suspects are concerned, I'll stick with Koril and Qimir. They are certainly involved in the matter. There may still be an as yet unknown master in the background… But does it all fit into the canon that the Jedi knew nothing of the existence and activities of the Sith 100 years later? Yes! It's obvious that incompetent, arrogant, careerist and opportunistic Jedi are trying to cover something up and sweep it under the carpet. We also don't know whether the Sith are revealing themselves to the Jedi as such or letting them believe that they are "only" Dark Jedi or some other Darkside sect. Finally, we don't know who of the Jedi involved so far will survive to tell the whole story. The Acolyte could well be a series without a "happy ending".
Wow...that was some amazing theorizing! I loved reading it all. I definitely like the combo of Koril and Qimir being the two Sith and your ideas for how they could turn out to be names we already were aware of in canon is very cool. Truly appreciate you sharing all of that and I suspect you are going to turn out to be right as we continue to see the mystery unfold in the back half of the series!
How bout this.. smilo ren is indeed an apprentice, to Keanu Reeves, who was said to have a part in the Acolyte and whom was rumored to play Darth Revan
I think Mae was being controlled by another darkside person when she was a kid. I think the person in the mask is her Zabrat mother and that also was the person that controlled her to set the fire when she was a kid. Do you remember in the first episode when Oshia was seeing her sister and her eyes turned black and she said " I will kill them All". That was not young may talking.
Well said...I agree 100% on that. I think Mae was being controlled when she started that fire. In Ep 4, the fact that Mae changed her mind on the "deal" with the Master when she learned Osha is alive goes exactly to your point. Why do that if she wanted to kill Osha as a child. I think you nailed it on that theory!
I’ve got to say I really appreciate you being overall positive about this series. Obviously I do have some criticisms but I still think it’s cool and has a lot of potential to be great. Personally I do not like it’s Darth Plagueis, or Tenebrous, but maybe a new Sith
Thanks for the feedback on the vid. Yeah, I also have some concerns with the series (the writing is abit flat at times), but overall I'm really enjoying it. So I'm glad that positivity comes out in the vid. And I agree, it would be nice for it to be a new Sith rather than someone we are expecting could show up. We'll find out one way or another as enter the last half of the show!
There's a few odd lines in the show that do not really make sense unless one specific person is behind the mask. The master reveals that steel can not kill Jedi and that lesson repeated back about "a jedi doesn't pull her lightsaber..." would really only make sense if it were Master Indara and her death had been faked. But this is Disney, watch it end up being Torbin who'd been possessed in the flashback lol.
Yeah the Indara faking her death theory is so interesting. I hadn't even considered it before, but now it's growing on me. Very curious to see where things go from here during the back half of the season!

Qimir is not a force user and Mother Qoril is orchestrating everything. Theatrics, Qimir is in the costume but Mother Qoril is using the force to make it seem like it’s Qimir using the force.

Yeah, I can definitely understand fandom's concern about Mundi's age being retconned. But for me, the fact that it was never canonized in a movie, show or even book, but was only mentioned on the CD-ROM companion to The Phantom Menace, then I don't mind it being changed. Even Lucas himself created a multi-tiered level of canonicity and that CD-ROM was on the 3rd (or perhaps even 4th) tier of canon. But I do agree that if the show ends up contradicting elements from The Phantom Menace movie itself, then I'll be concerned and upset.
Maybe it was Mother Koril beacuse she was always angry or dissapointed at Osha and she thought the Jedi destroyed all their stuff and she survived that and trained Mae to kill Jedis and Osha (beacuse she turned to Jedis side) for revenge.
Very good theories...yeah, I think Koril is a great candidate for the master pulling the strings behind everything. We may find that Qimir is behind the mast, but Koril may be the one controlling him.
Qimir being the Darth Teeth/Darth Smile/Kylo Grin/Smilo Ren is pretty obvious, it seems like the show is not going in that direction for being a big mystery, much like how Mae and Osha being twins was not really a mystery. The mystery of the show is more what the Jedi did on Brendok and why all of this is happening now, it's not a whodunit. I think it's also safe to say that Qimir is likely the Sith Apprentice, but wears a mask anyway because of the Rule of Cool. A real surprise would be to also see the Sith Master at this time, and maybe they even enact some punishment toward their Apprentice, or even takes on someone from this show to take Qimir's place for his reckless behavior. If Apprentices are allowed to take on Acolytes to replace their Masters, the Masters can also have Acolytes of their own to test or replace their Apprentices. Palpatine did this a number of times within the movies, let alone the Legends and Canon books and comics and such, so it's not even unfounded. 10:14 Oh hey, it's me!
I agree...I think the series is doing a great job of setting up one mystery only to reveal the answer and set up another at the same time. We find out Mae and Osha are twins, but that begs the question of how is Mae alive and who is her master. We seem to get the answer that Qimir is the master, but then we get strong clues that there is another master for Qimir in the mix. I love how they keep solving one mystery and teasing us with a bigger mystery.
Why is it safe to say that Qimir is someone's apprentice? I've seen others suggest this too, but that idea seems in no way obvious to me. The masked villain we've seen is very powerful in the force, and if it is Qimir, he is obviously cunning at deception and moving among normal people undetected in addition to being a very powerful warrior with an obvious grudge against the Jedi and deep philosophical musings on the the order as well. Those facts indicate a master's abilities not those of a mere apprentice. We also only have 4 episodes left, and we've barely been introduced to "Smile-o Ren". We know there's another flashback episode also. So they are supposed to, within 3 episodes, introduce a completely new villain to this story and resolve it all? That seems so messy.
@@jeffreyroedel9804 Qimir seems awfully young to be the Master at this time. Manny Jacinto was 36 or so when he shot The Acolyte, and unlike with Palpatine for Return of the Jedi, he wasn't coated in prosthetics to make him look older, and for all we know he's not alien. That doesn't mean he's not older than he looks, we've seen other Star Wars characters look really great for their age, but unlike characters like Bo-Katan or Fennec Shand who have been around a lot longer than one would expect, especially given their professions, it just seems unlikely that Qimir is the Master. This Masked Character is also strong in the Force, but that's not really a barometer to go by because that can fluctuate greatly from story to story based on limitations in technology at the time or what the story calls for. Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars is hyperstylized, we see all kinds of crazy things done with the Force, the same can be said for the Force Awakens games, too, and not everyone performing those feats are Masters. The Acolyte may be taking some inspiration from those for how the Force is used even though its live action. Kill Bill isn't exactly working with realistic physics, and it's also cited as a source of inspiration for the action in this show. So while this Masked Character can push away a whole group of Jedi at once, that still doesn't mean they are the Master. Even Vader for all his strength is still technically the Apprentice to Sidious. And there's the whole nature of having and Acolyte and testing them. I did point out that it's not uncommon that a Master would have their own henchmen besides their Apprentice, even using them to usurp the Apprentice, but it's definitely something that is more the act of an Apprentice to take on an Acolyte to kill the Master. Dooku was hoping to do that with Ventress, in Legends that's what Vader was hoping to do with Galen Marek, and while Maul had been discarded, he was hoping to do that with Savage and eventually Ahsoka, and even later Ezra to enact revenge against Sidious. But they all did so poorly, or the time just simply was not right for their aspirations. When I'm mentioning the Master making an appearance in the show, it would be more after everything is wrapped up for the most part. The Sith really are not ready to reveal themselves to the Jedi yet, meaning that all that is happening here in The Acolyte is really reckless. An Apprentice may be careful enough to have Mae do the dirty work and prove herself as an Acolyte early on, but when she says that she's willing to turn herself over to the Jedi, that means the Apprentice has to act and reveal that the Sith are still around prematurely, which points more to Qimir being an apprentice because the plan is failing and he can't pivot so easily to make things work for him. The Master would likely still be able to sense something like this, it depends on just how much they would be aware of what's happening, we're still missing half the pieces to the puzzle, but to have Qimir as the Master just feels wrong despite his strength and skills in deception and manipulation. I won't say that there isn't a case, this Masked Character could be the Master and is simply here to clean up everything that's fallen to pieces in the Acolyte, but then why leave Osha alive? Qimir is fascinated by the idea of Mae having a twin, and with her own misgivings about the Jedi, she's a new opportunity to exploit, but there's just something in my gut saying he's not the Master. If I have to give a percentage, it's a 5% chance Qimir's actually the Master looking for an Apprentice or a replacement for his own. If Qimir is not the Master, I'm saying that he's ready to take over, near equal in power to the Master, but he wants to make sure he has an apprentice of his own ready to go when it's time to take over as Master.

I have a theory that the twins were somehow switched, and their memories probably altered. My point is, Mae tried to kill Osha, yet she is the one to leave dark side when her sister is alive? Not to mention, on Coruscant, Osha does not really care about finding Mae again. Maybe her reaction fir space fire in the first episode was not trauma, but fond memory of what she did.
Oh wow...very cool theory! And honestly, it goes with the yin/yang symbology we've been seeing, as well as the titles of the episodes hinting at the contrasts. Love that theory!
Well, just like Sherlock Holmes like look at the clues or bread crumbs that the writers has left us. First, we know that Witches Coven is running but from who? We assume it is the Jedi but it is it? Then Mother Aniseya has an "Ascension Ceremony" where both the Blue and Red moons conjunct in the sky above them. We know that Mae seems to go fully through with the ceremony and spiral Yin/Yang symbol appears on her forehead. We don't know what the Ceremony is really for. We know that when the Jedi confronts them Mother Aniseya can control young padawan Tobrin, we see his eyes roll black. Now we see this again when Osha crash lands on the planet Carlac. In Osha vision, she talk to Mae or is it because Mae eyes also rolls black. It also very interesting to point out Mother Aniseya, her name "Aniseya" is ancient Greek means "Resurrection". So her name translate "Resurrection of the Mother" that seem more like a title. I'm thinking that whatever ceremony those Witches did they trying bring back some being. Notice how strong the Dark Force user is. It can throw 8 jedi away with no problem, even Sol in one trailer is saying "What are you"? Not "Who". I think it is Mae that is under the Mask she is under the control of powerful being. One associated with the Mortis Gods.

It could be some ancient Sith taking over Qimir after sunset. Qimir's always super stressed and keeps looking at the sun, plus we only see the Sith after the sun goes down. That would also solve the issue from Episode 1, since the Sith we see here would already be dead. One problem with this theory, though, is that I think we saw the Sith during the day in the first episode of the series. The theory's got its issues for sure, but I just wanted to throw it out there. Headland's wife, along with a re-used Kylo Ren helmet and some shower hose glued to the front of it. All that money per episode, have to make some savings somewhere. I did actually think it could be a young Palpatine and before people say he wasn't born, there is evidence of clones, as seen on Camino, with Jango Fett and Snoke.
Yeah, Palpatine is always a possibility as well. I would likely go with Plaguies or Tenebrous before Palpatine, but I could see one of them being the one pulling the strings for sure!
I feel pretty confident that either the Sith or the Sith's master is going to be Darth Plageuis. Partly because I can't imagine the show that retconned Ki-Adi-Mundi so they could have a cameo wouldn't go for such an obvious bit of fan service, but also because it makes sense for the guy whose entire character is about discovering how to use the Force to influence life to take an interest in the weird lesbian Force babies.

But regarding Mundi, I do agree they retconned the info on the CD-ROM that came out during Phantom Menace, but considering that George Lucas himself considered that to be 3rd tier canon (beneath the movies and shows), I don't mind that they changed it. If Mundi's age had been revealed in Phantom Menace, then I'd have a bigger issue with it for sure!

Legends is everything before April 2014 (except episodes 1-6 and The Clone Wars 2008), including “Star Wars: Episode I Insider's Guide” where his age was stated. And since there hasn’t been any information on his age after that date, he had no cannon birth year.

I was actually thinking the hidden master might be Darth Plagueis. Idk if that means Qimir is a young palpatine, i hope not, but im guessing qimir is gonna die at some point and plagueis will take on palpatine as a new apprentice. I think this show could only be good if it adds something to the whole continuity, it’d be rediculous if it was self contained.
My theory is that Qamir is Mae's master, but, he is the apprentice, and, he has a partner that give him order, mother Koril, a powerfull witch that gives him tasks in the name of their Master, a Master that saved her from the Jedi, Darth Plagueis!! And he saved her to learn how to create life using the force, that's how he learns it, that's how he passed this to Palpatine, and eventually gave us Anakin, from dark magic of the witches. I believe this show is telling us this story, in the end Qimir will probably die, and Plagueis will kill Koril after he gets what he wants for her, and recruit a person born from the force, Mae. I also believe most Jedi will die, and the division will hide it from the high council, because Jedi are like that.

Yeah, there are several theories about Venestra being in on the conspiracy. I think she's acting very sus and wouldn't be surprised if she played a role in things.
This isn't specific to who is wearing the mask... I may be going way off base here but wouldn't it be fascinating if the true natures of Osha and Mae are reversed from what we've been led to believe? Wouldn't that be consistent with how Sith operate? I think Osha should be either the Sith apprentice or Sith lord. It would fit with other parts of her story. She left the Jedi order because she couldn't let go of her anger. She said that she couldn't accept what she lost. She could have intentionally missed Mae with the stun gun. She's in the best position to effectively manipulate Mae. She wanted Torbin to finish the job on Mae. And it fits Mae's character too. Look how quickly she decided to stop and turn herself in. It doesn't seem that revenge and anger are driving her decisions.
I love that idea...the possibility that Mae and Osha swap places goes perfectly with the yin/yang symbols we've seen throughout the series. Excellent theory!

Rogue Jedi wouldn’t fix the TPM issue. Nor would splinter cell. These concepts were never considered (at least on screen) in the prequel movies. Qui-Gon and then the Jedi correctly concluded it was the Sith’s doing simply bc the person was trained in the Jedi arts and utilizing the dark side attacking a Jedi. These requirements have already been met in the show. They should be suspecting the Sith based on what we’ve seen from the prequels. Doesn’t even matter if none of the Jedi escape next episode. The Jedi know of a trained force user in the dark side with an unknown master. If none of the Jedi makes it back it makes it even worse. If all those Jedi die while investigating this, they’d instantly be assuming Sith, at least according to how the Jedi act in the prequel’s. (Don’t forget Dooku was a “rogue Jedi” and they still saw him as Sith). If they DO make it back, then they also have to assume Sith. I don’t really see the narrow path that they can resolve this, but I certainly don’t know it all so here’s hoping I’m missing something!
If it was a rogue Jedi it then creates a problem with AOTC in how the Jedi originally thought there was no way a former Jedi could do something evil such as attempted murder on Padme. That wouldn’t make sense if 100 years earlier a Rogue Jedi murdered tons of other Jedi. Love your videos though!
I agree, the series has a high bar to clear to convincingly answer how the Jedi in TPM weren't aware of the Sith. But I do think it makes sense that the arrogance of the Jedi would cloud their insight into the return of the Sith. We are seeing the Jedi at the height of their power and so they are blinded by their over-confidence. All that said, I do hope they give us a very (and I mean VERY) convincing answer as to how the Jedi don't believe the Sith have returned. They have 4 episodes to pull it off. Hoping for the best!

Yeah, good point… I definitely think that’s a misdirect. Because at the same time they say that it’s a he, they also say they’ve never seen his face and don’t know who he is. So I’m wondering if the Sith refers to himself as a “he” around them to throw them off.

Interesting theory...yeah, it could turn out to not even be a Sith at this point, but my guess is that it will be Sith in the end. We'll find out one way or another in the next 4 episodes!
Although, I wish I was able to leave the insulting idiotic writing behind, I simply can’t. The Acolyte has been awfully, pathetically, insultingly, cry out loud stupid, every minute or two, something outrageously stupid. So, giving this “mystery” any more credit than either being completely obvious or completely unfounded, the only two possibilities. The completely obvious is Qimir as the Kylo Grin, who is hiding his age and has been around since Mae & OSHA’s birth, with Mother Aniseya being also “Force Divergent”, with their combined experimentations in using the “Thread” to lead to Darth Plagius to directly creating Anakin with some kind of link established by Episode 8. Kylo Grin kills off 6-7 out of 9 Jedi, leaving only Mae, OSHA & / or Sol alive within a couple of minutes of fighting & as Mother Aniyesa is revealed to be alive in a flash back as Sol admits that they came to the planet originally and had either suspected earlier or just found out that a Sith may have been present and they confronted the witches and that is what lead them to the confrontation that wiped them all out. Established cannon has been demonstrated to be outright condescendingly laughed at, along with any respect to significance of lore or how it changes the dynamics of the established OG or prequel trilogies. Simple, dumb, obvious, the mystery is revealed to be at the level of high schooler fan fiction and that’s that, another year, another decade that we wait for good Star Wars, it’s been almost 40 years and sure, I now love parts of the prequels, just that moment when Luke came back at the end of Mandalorian and I shed a tear, yeah, sure, let’s not get too upset as the dumb lesbians play with our old toys and sure, the end of KK Era will be celebrated wildly and fk it, being a nerd has got me rich af, so fk it, I can do more than anyone would believe… As for any off beat, random character, out of left field variation that makes absolutely no sense… nothing else makes sense, not Jar Jar, not Sol, not any other Jedi or any Mae split personality or OSHA force projecting or any other stupid retcon’d variations. All of it would be “forced” into place (“rethreaded”?!!) and I welcome this torture ending as the final insult. I have unsubscribed from Disney, refusing to, even though it has the OG, early phase Marvel, Simpsons, etc because it has insulted me too many times. From the dialogue to the acting to the lore breaking to the outright insulting Jedi’s to be some kind of department of children services killers of entire villages or just the thought that Mae would suddenly threaten to Kill OSHA to now suddenly willing to turn herself in… it’s 3-5 stupid sht per minute, we are well into the hundreds of dumb af sht… and it’s not just The Acolyte, Obi-Wan was just as bad, so was Boba Fett, so was Ashoka, so was the last trilogy, so has been the last 6 series in Marvel, same with Dr Who, same with Indiana Jones. Just a series of dumb sht per minute avalanches and at the same time they throw in some woke or diversity check box quota members and nope, you can’t hate the quality issues, because now you are an ism. There are wonderful characters and content created in Blue Eyed Samurai, Arcane, The Boys, Better Call Saul - a ton of creative content where women have the primary role or other genders or races are heavily included but it’s smart, well written, quality, attention to details…. Disney, it has about 5%, Andor, Latest Spider Man, just some quality visual effects, maybe a rare movie or episode that has been done well… the rest, it’s been handed to idiots that slap a bit of diversity in it and automatic pass. Personally, I have enjoyed the content that had come out of it in the form of critical reviews, to see how and why dialogue isn’t coherent, to understand what does and doesn’t work, there are objective measures that can be implemented. They’ll come around because women are not being served well with poor quality, only the shills, only the die hard, even the dumb people will realise that it’s not they great, they’ll get a little high from the inclusion but it will feel empty. Patience. Watch the car crash. Point and laugh. Keep your money from them. Unsubscribe, point out and he mistakes and keep the criticism seperate from the DEI outrage and they will change. Maybe not this year or next but they will… To me, anything Disney had made is NOT cannon. It is Disney Inclusion Fan Fiction. Simple as that. They are stuck in the 70-80’s level of writing and that’s where we grew up. Most of it was sht back then and we loved the terrible B grade action movies. We matured and acquired a taste for intelligent writing and they are still chasing the inclusion high, like an addict and you can’t argue with them until they hit rock bottom.

Thanks for highlighting my "Sol is a Sith" theory in your video! Very much appreciated! Here's my theory for those interested: Sol, like Anakin, is attached to people. He rewatches holo's of students and promises Osha she'll never "feel like this again," referring to her loss. Sol learns that the Witches on Brendok can use the force to create life. Sol justifies to himself that if he could claim that power, he could save/preserve life. So, he manipulates his fellow Jedi causing the Witches to be massacred then goes to get Osha/Mae. As Mae and Osha fall from the bridge, Sol reaches out a hand. We can't see but I believe he pushed Mae clear just before grabbing Osha. Sol later sends his sith apprentice, Qimir, to Bredok to train Mae while Sol trains Osha. How does Qimir know where Inari, Torbin and Kelnacca are? Sol told him. Why is it so clear to Vernestra that a Jedi trained Mae? Because Sol trained Qimir and POSSIBLY Mae, too (they could have traded off wearing the mask). And who is Mae killing off? The witnesses to the massacre. Sol is tying up loose ends. Finally, who is Sol? I think at this point, it's obvious. The Master Sith who could manipulate the midichlorians to create life... Darth Plagueis the Wise. Or, you know, it's Darth Jar Jar 🤷

None of the character are interesting enough for me to care. This show is so lazy, the sith is just wearing a motorcycle helmet basically. The visor is painted and they added teeth looking part but I see the helmet visor outline and everything. I can't unsee it as a basic motorcycle helmet.
Yeah, I can understand some of your concerns. For me, the biggest drawback to the series is that the writing is pretty bland and uninspired at times. That said, the Jedi themselves are meant to be pretty stoic. I remember I didn't really get into Obi Wan or Qui-Gon Jinn until well into Phantom Menace's runtime due to them being so reserved. So perhaps things will start to intensify now that the Sith has arrived!

@AbitofEverything4U My Theory is that the Mask is a Dead Sith Lord Object, as we know Sith Ghost dont work like Jedi Ghost they can only Endure on Objects like Weapons, Clothes, Armors, Holocrons or most Important on the Case "Masks" until the Object is destroyed. And it can Control people most Famous one is the Sith Lord Darth Momin who was in Darth Vader Comics as a Mask with Great Power. So it is 100% Qimir he was Hiding the Mask + Lightsaber and Robe in his Great big Bag he had and he made a Pact with the Mask so he is technically the Masks Vessel to be a Sith when he wears it!

My guess: Torbin! He has a slight build, he was clearly traumatized by something that happened the night of the fire and might blame the Jedi, having become disillusioned with them. He's been meditating for over a decade, which means he could've Force Projected his image to Mae and Qimir. (and using the image of a Sith, the Jedi's boogeyman, which also means this isn't a real Sith so the fundamentalists can calm down) Qimir could have easily faked the poison so that it was non-lethal, Torbin could probably fake his life-signs to appear dead, it would explain why he was expecting Mae and also why it appears Kelnacca didn't put up a fight, and ... he has a scar. And we know scar = bad guy!
Why on earth would Mae’s mother hide her identity, pretend she was a Sith Lord and hire Mae to go kill the four Jedi? She’s just be like “C’mon my girl, let’s use our witch magic and get revenge, no?”

As a fan of the High Republic novels, that so many people think Vernestra could be the Sith Lord shows how badly she is written and portrayed in the show.
Yeah, I do have to agree. My understanding of her is that turning over to the dark side isn't something that seems in the bounds of her character as established in the High Republic novels. I suspect this situation is really stressing her out and therefore her actions are making her seem more sus than normal. It would be a pretty big leap for her to end up being involved in the conspiracy, so I suspect what we're seeing with her is that she is a "by the book" Jedi that wants to hold meetings rather than take action so that she can do damage control and keep things close to the vest. Yeah, I do admit that I'm not referencing the trailers in my analysis. Trailers are notoriously misleading...but that said...I do agree that the trailers make it alot less likely that Vernestra is the Sith. She was always a longshot in my mind. However, I do think she's pretty sus regardless. So weird of her to call off the pursuit of Mae and risk the life of Kelnacca. I hope she feels really guilty for that, since his death could potentially have been prevented.
