I don't think Loki has any control whatsoever of any timeline,, I think he could only observe and there's only there to give life to it. There's no insinuation that Loki can control anything.
This is what I tried to explain in previous comments... essentially the Multiverse is one giant paradox, even though timelines didn't metaphysically exist yet they can still effect the sacred timeline because it's something that was always going to happen due to the Multiverse existing all at once. The only thing that makes it confusing is the perspective of the sacred timeline... they cant effect the Multiverse until they were exposed to it via the Avengers returning from the Time Heist (the events that would set Loki being abducted by the TVA in motion)
maybe the reason the TVA is viewing 616 and 15005 is those two mutiverses could be connected by a black hole.. maybe the TVA is in the black home that connects them
we should also remember, particularly for wade killing ryan reynolds, remember when she-hulk jumped out of her show and technically out of the mcu 616 and into the real world, using the disney+ screen. I was thinking wade did something like that. Edit: Ok im watching this in real time cus otherwise ill forget my thoughts, literally not 10 seconds after i say this, you mention this exact she-hulk thing loll
So is the loom cracking creating branches off just 616? If so then how does that affect movies like Multiverse of Madness and The Marvels. Those are totally separate universes. 51:49
If they really want to go all in with Doom looking like Tony, I think it would be interesting if they adapted Infamous Iron Man (a comic series where Victor takes on the Iron Man role after Tony's presumed death). Since the MCU Tony is gone, it leaves the spot vacant and Doom, being an opportunist, tries to become the next Iron Man, for better or worse.
15:15 this was most def Fegie just tripping lol but anchor beings can maybe still be a thing without tony stark being one for the mcu. & most likely, anchor beings are features that are mistakenly only a thing for certain branches of branches but not every branch within the obniverse trunk of yidrasil. Like listen to this part 16:00 it very clearly sounds like he’s talking about a sickness that only happens to some branches of a tree but sicknesses that don’t affect the entire tree down to it’s roots bur rather sicknesses that only deteriorate a branch & all it’s little branches, down to the point that this anchor being was born maybe or smthn still think he could be lieing about the “anchorBeing-loss” sickness & this man just wants to prune this entire branch of branches just cuz he has some personal vendetta against smthn or someone in this branch of branches
As for the anchor beings thing, is it possible that the whole anchor being death scare was only a lie told by paradox? i mean like, his machine had nothing to do with the decay of Logan’s foxmen branches did it? that would have happened regardless?
8:15 wait i don’t get it, why do u think this can’t work outside of the easily dismiss-able maybe wrong assumption by NTW & her friend? ^The avengers needed pym particles to come back across new branches after going back in time. Cable likely either needed the same or was ok with just going back in time & creating a better future for him to stay at & live through just as long as his family got to live in that new future. if this is the case then we can easily assume that deadpool’s powers themselves are that missing replacement ingredient to replace the missing pym particles. Diving deeper, ^ He’s already pym particle crossing universes/timelines/dimensions by not only going backwards into the history of his own timeline but also going into branches no longer part of his shared trunk of the tree, ^^^like when we went to xmen origins, smthn that only happened in the 1st iteration of his timeline after the dofp branch off point that led to his own timeline, ^or like when he went to Logan, smthn that only happened in the 2nd iteration of his timeline after the cable branch off point that led to DPs newest timeline
5:55 i do think there are now two WepXs & two WepX22s & i also don’t think it’s weird at all since it literally happens in the comics, for a long while at least if not currently still, old man logan had or has been living in the comics 616 after being plucked out from his old man logan universe. So it’s kinda poetic if u think about it that like now in the earth 1005’s 3rd main corrected timeline/branch, there are now 2 of each almost just as in the comics main timeline Also this brings up the question of why didn’t Deadpool just go find his own universe’s wolverine & why he even got confused in the first place as to why it was such a problem that logan died if he knew that his own universe’s wolverine was still alive, shouldn’t it have clicked for him to ask further & get that clarification about anchor beings that they didn’t explain to him all that well the 1st time around? But anyways those are all minor questions that can easily be fixed with silly assumptions about how deadpool can confuse himself with his own metta/multiversal awareness & doesn’t change the fact that 2 logans & two lauras in DPs main universe still works lol
I like your theory about the “meta” definition of anchor beings. I think we’re digging too deep (I included) into the meaning of them… I think they intended the movie to be more lighthearted and humorous and your idea of them clowning on execs and their need to overly use an “anchor” actor to secure their success is spot on flavour-wise
The Single tree theory would be something akin to the idea of "Last Thursdayism." Where literally everything, including your memories of the time before last Thursday, were all formed last Thursday.
And if Doctor Strange 3 comes after Doomsday, and Benedict Cumbterbatch is confirmed in it, i think maybe they'll solve the dark dimension plot in Avengers Doomsday movie rather than in his movie, so i don't think his third movie is secured as it seems (unfortunately)
Now that Deadpool & Wolverine is out: How can the TVA open time doors to Earth-10005? Is it after the 616 tree connected to the rest of the multiverse? Is so, couldn’t the TVA do it at the same time Wanda was after America?
Great question. I discuss that in this short video on the season by season breakdown of the overall MCU timeline. It's got 86K views (insanity!) and I think it will answer your question: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qC6HRrvuXg8.html. In particular, it explains why Marvel placed Loki season 1 and season 2 in the timeline locations where they did. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and questions. I really appreciate it!
I think it's so fun how Paradox explains that Matter and Anti-Matter don't play well, because guess what? Neither do Deadpool and Wolverine! Maybe that had something to do it. Just a thought.
Great point. So, I don't disagree with you that it is confusing, but Marvel seems to have a specific place and time that they feel the Loki series occurs. You can check out this short vid on the season by season breakdown of the overall MCU timeline. It has a shocking 86K views (insanity!) and it should answer your question: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qC6HRrvuXg8.html. It explains why Marvel placed Loki season 1 and season 2 in the timeline locations where they did. Thanks so much for sharing all your feedback. I really appreciate it!
Thank you for the discussion about how Deadpool actually went to 616 universe, I was really confused about it, but I guess the logic of him being 4th-wall-breaking being just allows him to skip some logic, like it's his superpower to be where he wants to be. I wish it was explained a little bit more, even though on the intuitive level your explanation fits perfectly well. Also I've heard it somewhere on RU-vid that the void works like a transfer hub between realities that allows ring users to travel between universes. I wish they have hinted a little bit more about the ring user, even though the first thought of an amatuer magician was Ned Leeds, probably his Hobgoblin variant.
Great feedback! Yeah, Deadpool in 616 is just plain confusing all around. I guess the answer is Deadpool gonna Deadpool. But I'd have loved a better answer in the movie And poor Ned. Yeah, it could very well have been him that was pruned. Although Cassandra stating she was wearing his skin for a few days would be pretty funny! lol! But your theory about the void being a transfer hub is very cool. Thanks so much for the great feedback. Really appreciate it!
I wonder if we gonna have any more connections with eternals than just the Tiamut Island. I hope they at least reference the appearance of arishem at the end of the movie, or have a cameo of Sprite or Danny Whitman
So are the universes that has all the variants of wolverine that deadpool visits are those another universes like 616 and 10005 or are they branches off 10005
Great question! While they don't directly answer it in the movie, I think they are implying they are branches off of 10005. Other than going to 616 at the beginning of the movie, it seems Wade is staying in 10005 and just going to different branches.
If What If..? S3 is indeed exploring The Watchers background more, I hope it can give us more answers to these questions we have. I really hope they end up continuing What If after s3, it could really help explain many concepts we dont have a clear answer on and there are still so many interesting scenarios to visit.
First I just wanna say I love your videos. I really appreciate your passion and attention to detail. You're doing great work man! Second, would love your thoughts on this question: We see in Loki that the void exists outside of time and there's the main 616 sacred timeline surrounding the citadel (which is now Loki and the tree). Now after seeing Deadpool and Wolverine we see that it's all one void for every universe (I'm of the multiple tree theory as well) but only 616 is visible from the citadel. So my question is where are all the the other universes visibly? I don't know if that makes sense and can definitely add further clarity if need be lol 😂
Great question! So one of the stranger things to me is how they reached the citadel after enchanting Alioth in S1, E5. I have to wonder if there was some additional magic they used to open that portal after dissipating Alioth. I mean, if the portal was simply somewhere behind Alioth, they would just wait for him to pass and go behind him. Instead, it seems once he was dissipated, it opened a new portal that led them to the citadel. So my point is, I think the citadel isn't directly connected to the void.. Also, in S2, E6, Loki walks on the gang plank to grab the branches, but then it seems a portal opens when he heads to the throne. So I think the void, the citadel, and the location of the TVA HQ are all disconnected from each other. Let me know your thoughts on that. Hope it made sense.
the one thing i find interesting about the xmen timeline is the earliest point we see is apocalypse and his tech is far too advanced making me think it comic accurate and the celestials created it so the xmen timeline branched of potentially thousands or millions of years ago when the celestials decided to seed the earth creating mutants instead of implanting a seed
kevin feige allegedly stated that not only the pre MCU movies are in the “MCM” but the MCU (including the Xmen and any other live action media) is part of the live action Disney multiverse including Hocus Pocus, Descendants, 2019’s Aladdin, High School Musical, etc.
Battle world or "the void" is the base for all the trees to grow. What if loki is crocheting multiple roots "timelines" into a tree just braiding timelines. Will secret wars be a fight at the tva for control of the tree or for domain over battleworld?
I agree...I think Secret Wars will revolve around using the void to create a new universe going forward, that combines characters across several of the existing universes. Gonna be so cool!
Good point...it's hard to know exactly what he can do with tree, tbh. I suspect we'll learn more as the multiverse saga goes along, as I can imagine Dr. Doom fighting Loki for control of the tree. But another reason incursions in the same tree seem odd to me is that Marvel used the tree analogy and irl the branches of the same tree don't cause issues. However, the branches of different trees can get entangled and one tree can indeed dominate over the other (i.e. cause an incursion). So the idea of incursions seems to be between two different trees, imo. Hope we learn more in the Fantastic Four movie!
Going by ur first explanation at the start, i think we ought to realize that Loki right now stands/sits outside of time as is the entire TVA. Thats why they can jump between timelines and multiverses koz they are not bound by the time logic of any single universe or multiple. Also, Idk about loki controlling the incusions per se. Maybe he can but i guess even with his new power, there exists laws he is bound to. I mean we have more powerful enitities than him like the celestials, living tribunal all the way to the one above all. So if we want real logical answers then we hv to consider the entire pantheon or hierarchy of power in marvel to make meaning. In regards to Deadpool's jumping in and about...my reasoning is as explained above. Once u get involved with the TVA then u got access to time outside time. If that makes sense. ✌️😘
Awesome feedback! Yeah, the structure of the multiverse is pretty hard to nail down at this point since Marvel hasn't given us a big picture view of where universes like 10005 are located in relation to Loki's tree, so any theory on that has merit. I really do hope the Fantastic Four movie can answer alot of our questions. Fingers crossed. On Loki and incursions, you are probably right that he can't control the branches of his tree. But perhaps what confuses me the most is that irl, trees don't have problems if their branches cross. However, a nearby tree may start to dwarf another tree and destroy it. So my real issue, it seems, is the idea that Loki's own tree would cause incursions with its own branches. It just seems weird, but just me, ig. Anyway, loved all of your feedback. Thanks so much for sharing all your theories. I really appreciate it!
@@AbitofEverything4U u respond to ur fans n thats a plus in my book. I think realistically there's always a yin n yang in the universe in that no matter how good you are there is that dark side present even when suppressed. I mean Loki will always be a God of mischief 😂 i wouldnt put it past him to have allowed leaf incursions here n there if some universe pissed him off in just how it looks😂😂 Wasn't the final shot having some purple explosions in the leaves hihihi. I'm really holding out for F4 to be really good on quality n story as well as bank. We need to get it right at the least this time. 😘
lol! I love the idea of Loki getting hacked off at a universe and letting it have an incursion. That would be sooooo Loki! And yeah, really hoping they crush it with F4!
I agree, with a Deadpool movie you can't look into things too hard. There are some important things to take away, but there are also alot of meta jokes and times when Deadpool does things no one else can do, and so you have to view those in the proper perspective. Great feedback!
When you said that line about an amateur magician, instantly thought of Doom being behind something like that and he allowed another universe doom variant to die in order to become the new doom
lol...yeah, they did sorta mess with the Logan movie, since it seems a new future has been written. ofc, the movie did still happen, but it just got erased afterwards. And since I suspect the entire 10005 X-Men universe will be destroyed eventually during Secret Wars, then ig Logan's movie was a goner no matter what. Poor Logan.
@AbitofEverything4U poor Logan indeed, but if this is what has to happen to get 1. Hugh Jackman back in the saddle and 2. The yellow suit.... I'd say it was well worth it!
I agree...I love that fact that it allows bringing back all the original X-Men along with new ones that weren't introduced earlier, so we can have an epic X-Men vs. Avengers fight.
