I visited 3 places in the Norfolk Broads to show what wildlife can be found here.
Sadly, I didn’t find anything unusual, just the usual sightings that everyone recognizes.

Mr squirrel was very well camouflaged amongst the trees. Great shot of the two geese entering the water in slow motion. It looks like there is still plenty of water over at Hickling. Have the roads in the vicinity of Barton Boardwalk dried out now by any chance? Last time I was over there wellies were a requirement!

The roads to the board (via Neatishead) are not too bad. I avoided where it’s flooded along the road. Hickling roads are ok but the car park is still muddy. So much better than it was.

@@Newnamesameme2 Well... this morning I walked through Horning village, past the Radar museum, through Three Hammers Common, through Neatishead, past the Boardwalk onto Irstead, then headed home via Browns Hill House. 3 1/2 hours later I am now back home. I can now happily report we made it! However my feet felt like they doubled in size as they got so hot but no blisters (a total of 20700 steps). I am now having a cup of tea and will be stuck in my chair for the rest of the day. Hounds are now fast asleep. I wonder when they will wake up?
