At 10:30 pm the other night I got a photo of two foxes on the pavement outside my house. I'd say they were the same age and stature as yours Lisa. Sad to say I can't remember the last time I saw a sparrow, mistle thrush or song thrush. When I was young they were a common sight. I had visions of the guy doing the paragliding flying through someone's open bedroom window. 😂
@Newnamesameme2
@Newnamesameme2 3 дня назад
@@Richard-og7mv paragliding, that’s it 👏🏻👏🏻 I just couldn’t think what it was called and knew someone would tell me. Thank you Richard. I loved the fox 🦊, only the 4th one I’ve ever seen. I wonder what he found to eat? All the sparrows are in my front garden daily. Don’t worry they are fed well . I have filmed both a Mistle thrush and a song thrush. Both very rare now for me to find. Will you put food out for the foxes? I’m daft and feed everything. It does bring different wildlife to you though. Have a great Bank Holiday weekend. Hope you enjoyed the day trip.

Only seen four foxes eh, I find that a bit surprising Lisa. You're a lot more countryfied where you live. It's quite a common sight in Nottingham, even close to the city centre where I used to live. I know of someone who has fed them by hand. When I was about 15 a fully grown male fox, complete with a cub in tow, burst through the hedge in front of me and my friend. It was as close to us as I was to you at Ludham bridge. A wonderful sight. Hope you have a nice holiday weekend too lisa.@@Newnamesameme2

Seeing the wide cattle grid reminded me of when I was a child and I was crossing something similar but it was made of wood. I recall I was with my dad and his friend who had been fishing. Needless to say my leg slipped between the rails! We shall never know what the SW on the sign is for 😂😂😂. Felbrigg hall is a beautiful house. The combined colours of the Butterfly against the flowers was just so beautiful.I always think some of the images you capture deserve to be made into cards.

Thank you for a video of a beautiful walk. I was born in Hemsby and lived there until 1958. The area is strange to me now, everything having changed, and I could hardly recognise any of it on Google Street View, but it is clearly still a gorgeous place. Good luck, and a swift recovery for your son.

@@Newnamesameme2 Well, I was born in Hill House, on King's Loke - it had been the family home when my father was a boy - and at the time we lived with my great-grandmother, grandmother and great-aunt across the road, and set back from it, at 'Westfield'. A few years ago I looked on Google Maps and there was a huge pile of rubble where Hill House had been. When I was four or five we moved to Yarmouth Road. I remember learning to ride a bicycle on Hall Road, and there was a pond beside that road where we would catch sticklebacks etc in jam jars. One particularly fond memory though, is of the train ride to Yarmouth which near the Yarmouth end trundled through the sand dunes. Beyond Hall Road, on Waters Lane, there used to be tree stumps where we would see common lizards basking. Again, I wish your son a good recovery and to you, good health and pleasant walks.

About 30 years ago a cow charged me. I was in a field next to the river Trent. I ended up partly in the river behind a bush.
