In this episode we head over to Skomer Island on the Pembrokeshire Coast in Wales to photograph Puffins at the beginning of their breeding season. We battle with Storm Hannah that nearly prevents us from making it to Skomer at all!

Yes, its an amazing spot! Such a different feel in April to July even, but always amazing when surrounded with Puffins!

Skomer is amazing. I was there recently but only for the day. I'd love to spend a few days there and spend more time at the wick when all the tourists have gone.

Great video, Skomer will definetly be going on the bucket list ! it looked like John had his usual D750 but what camera was Mathew using - D850 or D500 ? I can't believe Mathew got a focused shot of a Puffing in-focus many thanks for making the video I really look forward to your photoescapes

You have to! so good! I am using my d850 to film and to photograph, plus my D750. Matt has a D800 and d750. So pleased you enjoyed the video :)

I was thinking of taking a trip to Scotland to shoot Puffins but stumbled across this video. I have to say I was engrossed , you guys take some awesome pics. Could you possibly give me a rough guide to how much the accommodation was, the ferry, and how long you stayed...I'm really interested in going . Kind regards Wayne.
