I'm from Puerto Rico a tropical island .The history of the Red Squirrel in your country was awesome you are an international photographer. I really enjoyed it. Thank you Jimmy.
Hi Jose, Thanks very much for taking the time to watch and comment - photography is a hobby for me. Do you take photographs ? Please share if you get a chance or follow on Instagram. Jimmy
Thanks Neil, I left the spot in the forest and moved on but may return there at some time - really enjoyed sitting in the forest and watching all around Jimmy
Hi Martin, Glad you enjoyed the video - have subscribed to your channel - love the channel trailer and images - I can relate to that! I'll have to do one. All the best Jimmy
Only just found your channel but very glad I did. A new subscriber! I really like that you added context by giving the history of the red squirrel in Ireland. A much deeper and immersive experience than if you had simply focussed on techniques etc. A good balance. Your presentation style makes the video very relaxing to watch. Thank you.
Hi Ben, Thank you for taking the time to comment. Where abouts are you located. Here in Co Wicklow Reds are quite widespread though I do find parks and gardens host mainly Greys. Jimmy
In effetti, sono ottime foto che ha scattato Jimmy. È un peccato che sia così tanto nella foto con molte informazioni che non sarebbero state necessarie. Saluti dai Paesi Bassi, ;-)
Lovely vlog Jimmy. On my wildlife reserve in Wicklow, this has been a bad year for red squirrels as they are being hunted by the young pine martens. Using 8 trailcams, the footage is not nice viewing for red squirrel fans.
Hi Tom, Sorry to hear that and apologies for delay in responding - I was lucky in that my trail cams didn't pick that behaviour up but no doubt it was happening. Jimmy
Jimmy a nice blog, however, a critical comment and that is that you give a lot of information about the red squirrel that I could have looked up myself. More information about the technique you apply would have had greater added value. The photos were definitely worth it and beautiful.
