Wildlife Safari, drive through wild game park, Winston, Oregon 

I grew up in Green just outside of Winston. My family and I would go to Wildlife Safari every year for Easter services put on by a local church and the staff. Great memories!!

I remember the school assemblies when the folks from wildlife safari would show up. They were always our favorite time of the year. Being allowed to pet a live cheetah made every kids day.

When I was there I did the drive through tour and then the lion and bear feed combo. You go to the Lion's den and you feed them and get to learn about them and how they are cared for. Then you go to the Brown Bear den. You get to bring them into their huts for the night. It's really cool because you get to feed both the animals. It costs $95 per person, but it's well worth it. You have to be at least 13 years old and they do it when the park is closing. They don't allow anymore than 6 people to do the encounter, so it was me, my brother, my sister, my first cousin, my second cousin and my third cousin who did the Lion and bear feed combo.

I enjoyed everything except the music. I went to wildlife safari in Bandon Oregon got to pet baby lion’s, leopards bears,got to feed them baby bottles of milk, this was 10 years ago. Not sure it’s even still in operation, it was interesting.

What do they do with the animals when they eat all the grass, and have to remove them so the grass grows back? Also I see no shelter for the animals when it rains or snows?. My grandkids want to go.

Usually whenever I go to anything like that its nap time... lots of activity there though!

Are you allowed to get out of the car and pet the animals? LOL.

Seems like a rip off. If it was 23 per vehicle id take the kids. But 23 for adults and 17 for each kid to sit in our own car and be so far away is ridiculous.
