Wildlife Wednesday - How do beavers help other animals? 

Beavers are North America's largest rodent, and are considered a keystone species due to the significant benefit they provide ecosystems in which they live. The habitat they create and modify helps improve wetlands, mitigate flooding, and mediate extreme temperatures. Countless animal species depend on beavers, including over 50% of North America's threatened and endangered species. In this video, we celebrate a variety of species that benefit from the habitat nurtured by beavers as witnessed this spring.
