Wildman slugs have been about for a little while so thought it time to have a good look at them . I was shocked how good the Wildman slugs performed , watch the vid and see for your self . Yes they work and yes they work well !
Mr. Roger, great video!! This Ginger chap looks to have shaped some nice lead for the Red Wolf. Nice to see you out enjoying the countryside, beautiful spot to shoot you have. Keep up the proper work and Cheers to you my friend. 👍
It’s so odd that everyone is totally convinced that you have to run them at Mach 7 for them to work ?? I don’t get it ?? They grouped in my gun amazingly well ??
Thanks for restoring my faith in slugs again, guy in the gunshop said they can't do the job but obviously can. Great short positive video as always. Thanks guy's..off to Wildman Slugs 😂,👌🏻🤙🏻👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻
Always had the thought you couldn't shoot up to 50 yards till that day! (Needing to give them time to stabilise) Good slugs, like the Wildman Slugs, prove that no matter the distance they can be accurate. Looking forward to picking some up!
Hiiiiii buhhhhhhhh I've got some 30 and 32 grain wildman so when the weather sorts its self out will put them though the safari at full power and let yerrrrrr know what they go like 👍
I love Red Dwarf, it’s so so funny ! Great show . You should try slugs , they are great once they work . If you find a slug your gun likes .. Buy a whole bunch buddy 😵😵
iv found it Pal my Safari is all set up today guess what you won't believe it my HILL 3000 Compressor came today its completely narked its boxed up ready to go back they put that silly short filler probe as wee no this dose not work on a Red Wolf because wee need the best fittings filler probe the extended version however my Pals at best fittings made up a 2000 mm with another extender filler probe and the other end fits into the HILL 3000 whip
The rimfire video will be out next week all being well . I was running the 27 grain slugs through the Daystate at 873 fps and they work a treat buddy .
@@yamahabigwedgy I don’t run any slugs at 1000 , I start really slow and build up abs when they are bang on accurate , I stop there regardless of speed . They still do the same job if you ask me ?
Very good video! Not sure if they are available in the US, if so I will have to give them a go. I have seen both ways, slugs that will group and slugs that won't at close range, I generally choose to slug test at a longer range since most of my shots are long range. Thanks for sharing all of the info!
The slugs ( I am sure ) will be available in the US soon all being well . These group close in and a long long way out I can assure you . I have shot targets with these at stupid distance and they do really really well . The BC is bang on and makes all the difference for sure . 👍👍
Thank you so much , most kind of you . Glad you like the channel Buddy . The rail is from AOA and works a treat ! Really helps you reach out for sure , I believe Airguns of Arizona have them in stock right now . Drop them a line .
@@joefletcher2563 it’s a bit of kit alright . By the way , if you get one drop me a line and I will tell you how to fit it . Sounds odd but there is a nack to it oddly enough .
@@TripleGRogerLait thanks G and yes had me second jab ready for the gym not been out the house since november however i was at the range last week after 8 months away 100 yards 1 inch spread wa ma safari check out airgun sniper-elite i gave my mate Mark my .177 Air Wolf free of charge however the dam thing was over the power limit its back at daystate one of the directors from Daystate was up so he took it back check out on the same channel my IOR TERMINATOR
I just shot the .177 HP DB 19.5 gr out of my impact fac and I agree WOW @55 yards WOW I want more too. Not sure of speed, I had gun shooting JSB 8.44 at 980 fps so put in a slug and it hit Half a mil lower than the 8.44 . @ 55yds. Have to do some testing but have to say it looks good man. I know fast for the jsb's but i turned power down on them now dime size groups at 55 yards. Dime is 18.3 mm in diameter, Canadian Ha!
Liams slugs are truly awesome. The best out there, unlike Javelins, Hybrids, these Wildmans group very well. Yes we know you have to test different weights etc, but one will be spot in. You're right, I use 36gr at mo, 25cal, either 1038(86ftlb)/1068fps(91ftlb) 😂 Impact. Great video, always enjoy
Very interesting indeed. People’s personal opinions on “really good, amazing and wow” are very very different. I certainly wouldn’t be happy with half inch groups at 30 yards with any projectile but each to their own. If it tickles your fancy then that is all that matters 👍
@@TripleGRogerLait do you think half inch groups at 30 yards is good for slugs or any projectile? Its perfectly fine if you do, like I said, some peoples standards are higher and better than others.
@Precision Airgunning - Long Range Target & Hunting agreed! IMHO, 5 is the minimum count to be called a "group" and 10 is needed to get real data. My groups of "one" are always a single hole ;)
I’ve tried lots of different mft slugs but nothing works better in my impact than wildmans 👍. Might have to try the 30 grain as I use the 25 grain atm.
Triple-G Roger Lait. If you haven’t already try the 34gr Wildmans in .25. I tried the 30gr and got so - so results at 955fps. Just tried the 34gr out today (6-8mph crosswind) and at 50yds, 2 - 5shot groups under 13mm. A lot of that was me 🥴. They were travelling about 895 from my 600mm Fx Impact, superior heavy liner
I told a friend to watch your vid because he not having much luck with slugs when he replayed in amongst the swear words he was saying how much they were so was saying about price on comment but utube mustn't of allowed it
