This is believed to be the oldest video of Wildwood-By-The-Sea New Jersey. This is fantastic! My favorite shot was the car driving up. And it's very interesting to see that the Firemen's weekend goes back that far.

Absolutely fascinating footage. Noted the 48-star flags in the first scene, which were brand new in 1915

What caught my eye is the filming of private residences of important people. Do that today with social media, they'll get a lot of "visitors" stopping by their homes.

What ArtwothMaddy said, all of these people are now taking a dirt nap, wow, this was cool AF! North Wildwood for me, one of the original piers was burnt to the ground by a careless night watchman, I forget the name of the Pier??

Aquaplane, never heard of, a precursor to a Sea Doo, a jet Ski, I dunno, I’m not a water person but that was cool AF, I’m a landlubber, pools for me only. Haha. I was in the USAF, no U.S. Navy for me! Haha.
